They do have the unfortunate tendency to somewhat attract rockets though (missile vulnerable 5%) but for the price of 920 Ferrite, 645 Bioptics and 45 Crystal, the protection they offer seems like a pretty good deal. The connectors are designed for use on Mecha weighing between 60-80 tons.I personally like using them on my Ammonite to further round out its shielding.
