Clancast XVI End Of Day Wrap Up

Welcome one and all to another end of day wrap up to fierce fighting and well deserved wins. Our broadcast tonight is brought to you by the fine institutions of...

Galaxy Gathering - We aren’t your grandfather’s mecha news source.  Often imitated but never duplicated, our mission statement is to provide the greatest news, a sizzling gossip section, the most bleeding edge part reviews, mecha strategy, and more all in a literate, fast breaking and fun format. Read the true next gen leaders only here on Galaxy Gathering.

Conflagration Industries Plasma Weapons (a division of Novum Dolorum research) - That sort of burnt smokey smell wafting to your nostrils is your opponent after being fried using our weapons. You're welcome. Browse our catalogue of Red Plasma, Assault Plasmas, as well as Liquid Torches and you’ll find what suits your incendiary needs.
Our slogan: Conflagration Industries: Giving you the gift of FIRE.

Nifleheim Technologies - Specializing in ice based weapons, freezing machines, coolant and refrigeration systems for the past few hundred years.  Our icers and cryo are still just as cold now as they were back then! We’re also always looking for new implementations to make cold things even colder.  The bodies of Freon and Niftel mecha make extensive use of our machinery and we are proud to say our chemical engineers are the largest provider of liquid and colloidal coolant polymers in the market.

Rapture Systems - Our original founder's ingenuity within the field of information security and talent in hacking shielded our earliest machines from the Y3k bug when she singlehandedly rewrote stable patches for all of our then largest clients’ mainframes, and released them over networks at the same time as the payload to a “beneficial virus”. We embrace the singularity and still uphold her core principles in our ethics today. Though technologies may have changed our promise of reliable computing you can depend on and legacy of renowned dynamic customer service continues.  Our software division are the primary makers of the skeleton patch series of software programs (known hacks, security holes, Stuxnet Injector and Battle AI) and our hardware division builds capable generic Rackmounts, Nux Raids, and Betrus processors.

Also before our final score listing this just in from our message center, it would seem like an open challenge. A bold move calling out others during a clan war, the message reads as follows... From - ID 163916, Jeff Kirk.  Message reads  -  Death's Destroyers {AFF} we at the 82nd await your presence in round 3. Bring your A game or just stay at home. As for B group I predict a tough fight  with wolverines getting the honor to face the 82nd for the gold. It will be a slobberknocker!

Myco: Hmm, look at that Pat, a massive upset in div 2 by Northwind Fusiliers against Murderbots proving that sometimes old heroes of past wars need to keep practicing.  This is the midway point through Clan Wars XVI though so there are still two more rounds for Murderbots to get back into the swing of battle if they want to retake the medal.

Pat: I see your point there Myco, always pays to practice, who knows if they will take the advantage. One thing is for certain it will be one heck of a fight to watch.

Myco: That’s true, also, in Div 10, I am excited for Relax, maybe it is their leisurely attitude that is helping them through these rounds, rather than tensing up? Very Mecha Zen!

Pat: I am not sure if they have discovered the path to inner peace or the superiority of fire power but whatever they did they sure did it right. Will definitely be interesting to see if they can maintain their cool next round.

Myco: A predictable win in Div 13 by Smurf Camp against Battlebots Alpha, a relatively new junior branch of AFF from what I’ve been told, however, very close end score between 3rd Ranger Bn and Exile’s Children.  If they wind up facing each other for a rematch in the finals that will be rather interesting..

Pat: Either way it goes it will certainly be one to keep our eyes on as these lower divisions quickly become the new champs of the field..

Myco: As for the middle divisions,  Exile’s Evolution held strong, even though Astral did rally a bit around mid match. Time will tell if they can hold the advantage as there are still two rounds to go. I’m not as seasoned in Clan wars as you so I really don’t know if this is a first but have there been 4 round ones in the past?

Pat: Not to my knowledge there hasn’t been, usually it is three rounds done. As for the Astral claws it just goes to show how fast the tables can turn in an ever increasing field of battle.

Myco: As a special announcement to the fans, if you like Galaxy Gathering, tell the devs on social media.  This is a pledge drive of a sort and pointing out the relevancy of user contributed news to enrich the experience … since we’re driven by readers like you.
