Dendrite Gels Equipment Review

Remember that sticky incident Drake and I had to fix where a biohacker turned artificial brain copiloting modules I'd pioneered into mush?  Well, turns out some enterprising researcher figured out a use for the cerebral goo of the dead Synthmen.

If you coat the bioptic nervous system and mecha/pilot interface points or ports of a mech in Dendrite Gels you get something that works quite nicely in place of an electrode.  These gels facilitate transfer of biochemical signalling information between pilot and mecha.  Cool to the touch and chemically designer tweaked to have a more pleasant odor with mild decongestant properties, this chassis option boosts responsiveness giving a 4% Crit-kill bonus, is not thermally conductive (adds 8% fire shield), and keeps you awake and alert, enabling reflex reactions at close to the speed of thought (slows enemy mecha down by 7).

This happy little accident costs 816 Ferrite, 675 Bioptics and 48 Niodes.
