Mech Show Spotlight Joker1

This is Sean Laverty's signature command mech. When he first purchased the stock Dilophus, it was love at first sight.Maybe it was the bright purple paint job, but this was the mech  he was going to base his forces around. The Dilophus was a Laser based mech, and Joker1 is no exception.

Using his contacts in the black market, the mech was stripped down to the bare frame, and rebuilt from the ground up, using only the best parts he could get his hands on. All of the stock weaponry was salvaged, the useful redistributed among the rest of his mecha, the rest sold to his contacts for access to decent equipment.

Using as many frictionless bearings as he could stuff into it, Joker1 nearly skates across the battlefield, moving quite fluidly for a heavy mech. That is where the subtlety ends. The heart of this monster is a Shrieker Mk2, modulated by 2 Power Relays. As if the bright purple and green paint job didn't attract enough attention, there is no missing the distinctive scream of the engine, which sounds almost like it is shrieking with laughter, from a distance.

If the heart of this beast is pure aggression, the head is all about cool precision. Deciding that directed energy weapons need to be as accurate as possible, Sean installed FOUR Betrus Processors running in parallel, powering 2 Hawkeye marksman targeting systems, which makes for a great first strike possibility!

Armament is second to none. Each arm mounts paired Duboces and Carnassial Lasers underneath a tripled Res laser rack. If that wasn't enough, Sean then mounted a Diablis Nozzle in each arm, because, as he put it, "Everything burns..." In the torso, the techs mounted one of the Rage Pulsars won in a KOTM above a Laser Spread, then surrounded them with a triplet of Galaxy Eyes. To round everything off, 2 Rupture Shots, salvaged from a downed Gigus, were mounted in the legs, to deal with enemy infantry and to start more fires.

After Joker1 made its debut on the battlefield, Sean was so impressed with his creation, that he commissioned a second Dilophos, Joker2 which is nearly identical in every way, apart from the engine, which he kept as 3 Max Torqued blocks.

Many enemies have learned, to their dismay, that laughter is not always the best medicine.... and that you can't spell slaughter... without LAUGHTER!!!!!!!
