Krampus Mech Review

It's a tank that scuttles around on four legs that are more like four arms (with three fingers including an opposable thumb each).  Surprisingly decent speed for a mecha on the high end of the heavy weight division. This guy weighs in at 70 tons.  The number of engine slots are a bit limited (2 by level 22 and 3 at level 47) but it can be customized with pretty solid chassis options putting expansion slots to fit in a whopping 4 of them by the time you upgrade it to level 32.  As far as weapons go this one favors projectile weaponry and the factory installed rail guns and rail cannons it comes loaded with fresh off the showroom floor are nothing to sneeze at.  Suggested premium upgrades would be to swap out the rail guns for ferrite storm guns to give it an extra trample bonus.

I personally love my Krampus.  The armor on this thing is crazy. I think when the Star Factories mechanical engineers developed this mecha they put extra special attention into the hull plating.  It is a unit that does not disappoint.

The cost is 5500 ferrite 4400 bioptics and 190 crystal.  Definitely worth a look into purchasing where there is a mecha sale, you won't regret it!

This isn't a bare bones walking cannon type mecha either since as you upgrade it and level, the Krampus gets significantly stronger, featuring built-in: speed bonuses to get faster, trample bonuses, precision and a small chance potential for triggering awesome triple damage.

Side note: This beast of a mecha is named after an Old Earth folkloric demon that followed behind Santa Claus spanking the especially naughty children with switches at Christmas time.  Archaeo-historians likely had fun choosing its name.
