Shear Thickening Fluid Equipment Review

So you've got yourself a behemoth of a mecha (70-85 tons heavy and huge range weight division), have things all nice and modded and want to show off to your clan mates how very cherry you've made it.  There's just one problem broh, in that last battle where you took it out for a spin to test drive and fine tune you managed to get your nice new giant robot all scraped up and keyed.  What do? Say goodbye to scratched paint with the solution offered by MechWax.  Shear Thickening Fluid is a reasonably priced* general common chassis component you can apply a coat of to your heavy and huge mecha for added protection (12% projectile shield) against the dings and scrapes that are typical environment hazards when gun fighting.  It doesn't perform well against ice (8% ice vulnerability, flakes off in chunks when blasted by frost) but the amount of shielding it gives (5) and a nice little dodge bonus (4) will make you glad you forked over crystal for it at your local mech shop.

MechWax very much like their jingle says, take your mecha and makes it showroom ready.  I am having a bit of a hard time getting that tune out of my head, now that you mention it.  With their line of Shear Thickening Fluid it's like you're buying an extra shield that comes in a can (also copyrighted, but I had permission so please don't shoot me!).

*840 Ferrite, 734 bioptics and 46 crystal.  Available: EVERYWHERE.
