Magnus Mecha Review

Alright folks it's been awhile since our last mecha review but we have a new one coming at you today, say hello to the new Crystal mecha the Magnus. It weighs in at a very respectable 90 Tons and will set you back 16,500 Ferrite, 11,500 Bioptics and 360 Crystal total. Build bonuses are Missile damage, Projectile Damage, Trample shield, and Splash shield. It does have a level requirement of 79 to it, so be aware. This looks to be the new heavy weight crystal king of the battlefield, also rumor has it that the bonuses become highly beneficial at level 40 and up.

Handed out pre leveled yet again as a division one prize at the last CW it made its way onto the scene causing quite a stir. If it lives up to the hype it will be quite the mecha to beat. So far it looks as though it may just be able to. Although a word to the wise much like the design of the Jadoon leading to fewer shield slots, this design sacrifices chassis and cockpit slots for all of its shielding and firepower. So is it all really worth while? Well if you are one of the prized chosen few of division one then sure it's a free mech. If you have to shell out resources like most the rest of us those abilities better come in pretty high numbers for it to be worth the while. If your play style is slug throwers and missiles then of course this is a no brainer for you. Keep your eyes peeled as these should be seen in larger quantities as people buy in and launch them off to war in the next KOTM, circuit fights, and CW.
