Semi-stable Power Field Equipment Review

This wonderful little gem of an engine is a piece of superb niode craftsmanship. No matter what fuel you choose to burn the Semi-stable Power Field will supply not only the needed torque to keep you up to speed but packs enough power to make a solid impact in an all assault. The engines remarkable electromagnetic containment fields are capable of deploying built up energy in the form of EMP's to freeze your opponents in their tracks as their mechs systems experience cascade failures.

Semi-stable Power Fields are limited for Medium & Heavy mechs from 45-65 tons, costs 240 Ferrite, 285 Bioptics & 40 Niodes. The engine provides a very respectable Speed +17, Trample 4%, Freeze 9% & Laser Vulnerable 8%.

Many pilots choose to use them in conjunction with Fast Data Switches or Hip Shocks & even Thermal Analyzers to offset any loss in speed while you can also use Sekhmet Seige CPU's or CAL 9000's to increase the trample even higher. A solid component to run on any mech but the best choices are Dreads, Ogguns & Smilodons.
