Mollliere Daffue and I have an at times friendly rivalry... which becomes apparent to observers in KOTM as we often find ourselves vying for ranks within the Top 10 of the same division. However, in sparring against each other on the competition field so very often, he and I had observed a few things. Things that might be profitable to other pilots, in addition to ourselves. So we got some of our best men out to talking to our contacts in Rapture Systems, Conflagration Industries, Nifleheim Technologies and those Cogwerk Guild giants the Bombardier Projectile Société Arme à Feu and Grenadier Système Socialiste and he and I are going to put our heads together to try and design some of the most cutting edge of next gen weaponry so try to keep your head on your shoulders because its about to spin.
Any two-bit would be conqueror can create a shark equipped with lasers but how many of them can fire a shark made out of lasers at an opponent? Oh the humanity!
It takes at least an 8-bit warlord to send forth a gun that shoots smaller guns, right?
And what about laser guided laser weapons?
He and I believe that with a little engineering know-how and the products of those companies' applied research we could improve on the old Fury Tech and come up new types of cannons ... or might (if you're nice and lucky) go a step further and tighten the guidance controls of swarm missiles to come up with high precision "surgical strike" bombs that are rockets which deploy smaller but highly concentrated driller mines.
