Post CW 18 Interview

This is Deborah Roaché-Hudak # 289133 in a post CW 18 interview with Roy Cheah # 26958. Thank you for joining me today Roy.

Roy: Thanks and always a pleasure.

Deb: This was our second wars that included specialist, how have you liked the change?

Roy: To be honest , this one went off a little better than I expected , my first, I went in not knowing what to expect . This time round I got a more comfortable feel for it

Deb: It's been interesting to see who's kept up with more than just their KotM strength formation. Did the extra time between wars help you set up more formations to prepare this second time around?

Roy: Yes, it helped quite a bit, plus the help of the hood and the tactical division made me stronger in the first 2 battles this cw. It's thanks to the hood that I was more competitive and was able to help more this time around than my first specialists cw.

Deb: That sure helps the fun department. Would you want to go back to the standard CWs, stay with the new specialists formation or hope there are new horizons still?

Roy: I would like both but more variety , maybe (just a suggestion) but a cw that has non niode players a little more edge in crystal weapons , don t know how that might work out with with the vast majority some niode only teams and players spending but would be nice to see the poor guys like myself be a little more competitive for a change as well as maybe a more affordable noide mechs and niode levelings but may not happen as the powers that be need to make money , that I understand

Deb: It is hard to compare the best crystal items offered with many of the niode counterparts, I understand what you mean. Is there any advice you'd offer to other players that are just starting in CWs or the specialists wars?

Roy: Just one bit of advice. When trying to be competitive in CWs and Specialist Wars, no one can do it alone. I am fortunate to have the leadership and backing of the hood. Anyone who would like to be competitive needs to have a great team, family and the willingness to ask questions and get honest answers , such like we have with the hood (and also the best group of people and diverse ones I have had the pleasure of being with from first joining MG.) Further more, stick to your morals and never compromise yourself , after all if I did that, I would be jumping to every team in MG just to get niode benefits and that would leave me no loyalty to my name at all. That's about the only advise I can give to up coming / new players. Sorry for the lengthy paragraph lol !

Deb: No worries, nice to hear others thoughts. Thank you for you time, is there anything else you'd like to add?

Roy: That's about it Deb. Thanks for your taking the time and all that you and the hood do for us , I really appreciate it

Deb: My pleasure. Look forward to seeing you in the next Clan Wars. Until then, safe travels and successful battles!

Roy: Same to you and the best for the future.
