Hawkeye M.M. Equipment Review By Pat Willis#224534

Today we'll be looking at a niode piece of cockpit equipment, the Hawkeye M.M. Suited for mechas in the 60-80 ton range, and packing multiple abilities it looks to be one of the premiere cockpit pieces in its weight class. So how does it stack up?

First off it packs a mean Precision rating sitting pretty at 11.  A quick look in the shop reveals that the only higher piece out there for Precision is a Battle A.I. which sits at 12.

However the  Battle A.I. starts off in the 70 ton range to 85. So while it is in the middle of the road weight class wise, it is the only system seen to be even a contender for the Precision king of these pieces. Although you only get 3X & 2X Damage boosts out of the A.I. and neither above the 5% mark.

Then this lovely little toy gives you a slight bump in Crit - Kill to the tune of 2%, a nice Laser Damage increase at 10%, and for fun a little Missile boost at 7%. Needless to say there are plenty of other complimentary equipment pieces to add on to the Laser damage bonus, and the same again would apply to Missile damage. As long as you pay attention to your build bonuses and the  innate strengths of your mecha this piece should fill out your equipment slots nicely. I'm a fan of stacking where I can and this piece looks like it would just be fun to do that with.
