Axe Bot Mecha Review

Harkening back to the gladiator robot on robot combat days is the Axe Bot, this 20 Ton machine of mayhem will run you 350 Ferrite, 350 Bioptics, and 35 Niodes. This bot sports times three damage in its build, speed boosts, and plenty of expansion slots for a lower tonnage mech.  It also packs a Fist of Fury slug thrower and an Air Strike Missile launcher, right off the show room floor. Right off the bat it comes equipped with decent weapons for the starting pilot complete with the capability of splash damage. Not bad if you have squirreled away niodes to splurge.

Some pilots swear by these machines, I don't know if it is the look or the ability to customize, but they simply love them. Again ideal for the lower tonnage events and packing a surprise depending on what the pilots have sunk into it in terms of weapons and equipment. This little mecha is a crowd pleaser and a fan favorite all around. It certainly stands out with its  red and white coloration but I think that makes it an easy target for the larger more heavy tonnage machines out there. For what it is though it is solid through and through. A good buy for the starting pilot or the collector stuck on nostalgia.
