Depending on who you are, and how your luck is, you either have none of these, a couple, or an entire fleet. Currently they are found as a random mission in Novum Dolorum, bosses found and fought or not is not an issue these will show either way. On the rare occasion you manage to get one it will automatically appear in your hanger and you will get a few niodes in addition to finding the mech. By all accounts you are much more likely to get the teaser screen about something big flying by real fast, and a picture of it. That however is not the mission pay out, but it is the closest some ever come to finding this mecha.
I received my first one the day they were released a couple months ago, then saw neither hide nor hair of them until this past week or so when I saw the teaser screen, and then eventually in the next couple days got another one. The Novum can at present only be found in missions and is not available for general purchase in the game shop. It is a 25 ton flying mech, with bonuses to speed and dodge, and primary weapon according to build of laser, it also packs a x3 ability for damage.
Like the Jadoon it has a vulnerability to missiles, but given it's size that makes sense as you would imagine a light, flying mecha not to be encumbered by massive armor plating. These things dance, and dodge in a fire fight. The high dodge rate in the build combines with chassis slots to fill makes for one hell of a hard mech to hit. Of course it all depends on what you're willing to put into it's guts, but these mechas make for some fast, slick, hard to hit combatants. That in and of itself makes this mech very worth while.
