The Siege of Cogwerk Port Day 2

This just in - Cogwerk Port remains under attack by the group known only as "The Sinners". Since arriving early in the A.M. yesterday they have taken total control of the ports themselves and made off with untold amounts of niodes estimated only in the billions. Since they started with mainly Freons, Cindrons, Infernos, Severs, Gigus and Frigis mecha their ranks have been further reinforced by Smilidons, Bishops, Torrents, and Ammonites. Combined forces of planetary security, Shogunate and Hememony forces have been held at bay since their arrival. Calls have gone out to all major clans for help, but some who have tried to respond thus far have been blasted as soon as they come through the gates.

Nearby Galactic Military forces have been dispatched only to have their drop ships blasted out of the atmosphere as soon as they got within range of the invading forces high powered cannons. This is a well organized surgical strike the likes of which none have seen before. Speculation remains high as to who is exactly behind this group and what they could possibly need all those niodes for when it is apparent they already have an army at their fingertips. From the few mechas that have been brought down they have revealed nothing as the pilots in question have committed suicide rather than be held for questioning.

This reveals only that those who make up this group are dedicated to whatever cause or persons they serve and fear nothing even death itself. The planet is considered quarantined, and under emergency military protocols any seeking to arrive from out of system will be arrested on sight under suspicion of being with this group. Tensions are high and fighting is non stop as each group seeks to drive back the other for control of the area. We will keep you updated as events unfold...stay tuned.
