A crystal slug thrower the mauler comes to you for 330 Ferrite, 264 Bioptics, and 8 crystal. It sports no special abilities in the weapon itself but has a Speed of 108 and damage of 21 with a level requirement of 22 to purchase one.This is fairly common gun and a decent one once you unlock it. You will most likely get a great deal of use out of it from various mechas specializing in slug thrower weapons. It isn't a devastating weapon of destruction on its own but it is a weapon that fires fairy fast and does for the level requirement good damage.
Granted for level 21 if you have the niodes to spare you can purchase a Panther Wheel which does more damage, and faster firing speed with abilities built in, but if you are strapped for resources this is a solid weapon and a good buy for your money. You may out grow this weapon kin of fast based on your play style and how quick you level but while you are there The Mauler is a reasonable bang for your buck.
