Force Ion Beam Weapon Review

The Force Ion Beam we all know it, the weapon you get for watching vids (if you can get them) otherwise it costs 50 ferrite, 50 Bioptics, and 4 niodes. Minimum level requirement of 5 and you can buy them in bulk 5 for 16 niodes. They have a Damage of 8, a speed of 102 and a weapon ability of 5 slow.

Some folks get the vids and sell these for Niodes at a 1 to 1 ratio. These are decent weapons for those just starting out, but honestly they grow old fast and you out grow them quickly. There are many lasers on the market that have this one beat in fire power as well as ability. As you reach higher levels and unlock more equipment slots they may see a brief second life with amplified ability through equipment. Honestly this isn't a bad weapon for the starting pilot, and you may even want to keep one handy should a mechathalon come along that uses low end weapons. But  ultimately these are good for resale and really about it. They are  here to whet your appetite for niode weapons, the question is how hungry are you?
