Being In The Brotherhood During Faction Wars By Pat Willis#224534

Faction wars are just like any other big clan event around here. The higher ups first do a roll call see who is in or out, then figure out who would best be used where, then after they make up their minds we get our marching orders. Some grumble, and complain, they don't want to be in whichever division, they don't want that much experience, or even their mechs aren't up to snuff yet. But usually such complaints, or protests are few and far between thankfully. Once we get our orders we report to whichever clan we are going to call home for the duration of the war.

Being in the Brotherhood we all pretty much know each other, so hellos are said, notes are made on mecha load outs, questions are asked and techs go over everything head to toe. All in all it's a pretty relaxed feeling for such a huge event, no one panics, Honor Guards are carefully planned out in advance, and everyone knows their place. Mechas are reviewed for specialist positions, the few that are allotted are handed out, and if you are one of the chosen you are a specialist representative of your clan for the duration of the war.

Some new faces are introduced here and there through alliances made with other clans for the purposes of war, but even those "new" faces which can in fact be folks you knew from other clans for sometime, are easy enough to get along with and cause little to no problems. This is after all the Brotherhood and while we respect others willing to fight with us, we will not tolerate those amongst us causing problems or making too many mistakes too often. We all calmly suit up, check over our mechas one last time and wait for the signal to go to war. We are prepared, we are well outfitted and advised, we are armed to the teeth, we are The Brotherhood.
