This newest engine development is a wonder of technical engineering. The size is such that only the biggest mechas can accommodate it, and the cost is a staggering 2143 ferrite, 1471 bioptics and 50 niodes. The core of this engine is the huge gyro-stabilizers. In addition to provide smooth running, it gives the mech an unprecedented stability. This stability give the pilot a better firing solution. In addition the even flow makes the laser capacitors 1/50 more effective. The nanites can also seal some small breaches. Unfortunately the need for a high operating temperature makes it about 1/12 more susceptible to cold based attacks. The real problem in my opinion is the low speed.
The RACE engine give you 150% more speed, and the heat cycler give you 75% more. For those who want a stable firing platform this is a good buy, but for those who want to move around the battlefield I must recommend one of the two other.
