The Tinsel EMP was a limited seasonal weapon on offer this last Christmas season. It was a Niode weapon that was available for purchase in the store, in mystery boxes, as well as for clan raid pay outs. It has a speed of 111, and a damage of 111 also, with the abilities of crit-kill at 10%, with a freeze of 55%. It is definitely one of the fastest firing ice weapons and second only to the Khron in damage. The Khron does 115 damage, and has a freeze ability of 40%, which puts it behind the Tinsel EMP in ability.
This weapon is great for any ice thrower out there, and can seriously damage the opponent either by straight damage or by use of abilities, which as usual can be further augmented by mecha build stats or equipment placement/load out. I got mine from the clan raid and it has been a lot of fun having it on my Frigis mecha it compliments the already built in freeze ability nicely. Remember if your enemy can't move they can't shoot, or dodge, and that is always a bonus in a battle.
