Anzu Run Equipment Review By Sten Hugo Hiller #627184

This was originally a study for the Apatron engine done at Starleague R&D (Relax and Drink)
It was at the time noted that Anzus was the fastest mech available, an if the pure speed could be harnessed for propulsion it could get the Apatron a decent speed.

The way to do this was a long conveyor belt which could be raised up to 32 degrees. Now, the original idea had 1 belt near each leg, but the finished design have one long belt running the entire length of the apotron. The drawbacks are as follows; 1: The belt can not be raised more than 21 degrees, so the original + 11 speed is reduced to +8, 2: There is not a rail on the sides to keep the Anzus on the track, so when traveling at any kind of sloping terrain the anzus tend to fall off the track, 3: Even when driving at level surfaces 1 falling Anzu will start an avalanche and all will hit the back wall at terrifying speed.

The good part is that the slightly uneven energy delivery gives a fluctuation to laser frequency that actually improves the power output. 1712 ferrite and 1298 bioptics is not to steep a price to pay, but the 65 Crystals might seem a bit much considering the drawbacks.
