Some would say a versatile shield given the tonnages it covers, others would call it a gamble. I say it is a gamble. Given it will only protect as it should 20% of the time and the rest of the 80% it is handing out kick back. Granted the damage it dishes out isn't that much but spread that out over multiple rounds with other damage being thrown at you, and this shield helps whittle you down for your enemy. Yet another fine example of faulty equipment making it past quality control and finding its way onto the open market. Crystal shielding is probably a better bet with the stats on this thing. So in closing it'll protect you real well from one weapon fired at you 20% of the time. The rest it just kicks you in the face little by little till someone puts you out of your misery.
