CW3323 Post-War Interview With Joshua Bourne #702128 By John Ringo #899287

GG: Welcome Joshua to The Galaxy Gathering studio. Can I offer you a drink from the wet bar before we get started?

Joshua: I would love one thank you. After a war like that, I could use a good drink to calm the nerves *smiles*

GG: Let's see... Ah I have a case of Liquid Inferno Tory sent over. I think you will like it *Smiles* *Pours a stiff drink and hands the glass to Joshua*

GG: For the record what is your name, player ID, clan you fought with this last CW and what medal did you win?

Joshua: My name is Joshua Bourne, ID 702128, my clan was Northwind Dragons and we got Gold in Division 3 this War.

GG: Grats on the Gold win *Smiles*

GG: Did your team perform like you expected this war?

Joshua: Thank you kindly. We had a fairly easy war this time around. Competition was strong, but we were just that bit stronger.

GG: Was there anything you found to be a surprise this war?

Joshua: To be fair, this War for me was very "standard".

GG: Was there anything you found to be a disappointment this war?

Joshua: It was a bit of a shame that this War wasn't as close as my first War in Tier 1.

GG: Well there is always next war *Smiles*

GG: This war every clan needed a SRB specialist to get in the game. We have had a required spec now for the last two wars. Do you feel this requirement improves or takes away from Clan Wars?

Joshua: I like the addition of these "required" specs per War as it makes it so people can't remain complacent on their specs.

GG: The pilots who ran the required SRB spec this war earned (2) 2X upgrade kits. Does this extra prizing improve Clan Wars and should be continued?

Joshua: I believe it should be continued as it gives players that use Specs a bit more rewards for their ability to run more than one Formation.

GG: How hard was the Raid for your team?

Joshua: With our team, we're highly communicative so we're able to get the Raids done efficiently and effectively.

GG: Are the Raid Prizes this war useful for your team or do you just sell most of it for needed Niodes?

Joshua: Provided the RNG of the game follows through, there are a lot of good mechas to choose from. However, the weapons and equipment are quite... Lacking.

GG: What is your favorite mech that you own and why?

Joshua: My favorite mecha would have to be the first Pike I ever received called "Don't tell 'em Pike!", as it's a sign of my first Gold in Tier 1, as well as a sign of success when I lead my Squad, Brotherhood Dragons Beta, to victory in Squad War 3320.

GG: What is your favorite thing about Clan Wars?

Joshua: I would have to say the prizes! *Grin*

GG: MOAR Loot!! *Grin*

GG: In your opinion, what needs to be fixed to make Clan Wars better?

Joshua: Personally, I think the Raids need to be adjusted. They seem to be rather lackluster for the amount of effort and xp you expend compared to the amount of goodies you get.

GG: Before we wrap this up is there anything you would like to add?

Joshua: I'd just like to thank everyone that competed this War and I hope they get/got good RNG in their Raids!

GG: Well said.

GG: Thanks for taking the time to stop by the studio and talking with me today. It was a pleasure. I wish you and your crew the best.
