Mission File By Kenneth Hicks#846092

Location: Moon Delta of the Rizpah System, Meiji Shogunate Territories

Day one of the Wars had reached a conclusion. Cpt. Hicks had been one of the initial spearheads against the [HF] Mobile Infantry. The Infantry had used the cover of several creek beds to sneak their light scouts in who wreaked havoc on our less experienced units. They had found out though that they had over committed themselves, cut off from they're main units as my Company stormed in behind them, taking advantage of their weapons cool down period. The rest fo the day had proceeded as planned, our coming out in two pinchers, cutting into their support with our heavy units, while setting feints and harassing through the middle to keep their attention divided. At the pitch of battle, there was a force vibration and several alarms went off throughout our units.

As we collectively looked up, we could see multiple Dropships, flying the Red Fire Bird and Lightning Bolt of the Pheonix {BHG} landing on Moon Oscar, whose orbit was very close to our own at this rotation. "Hey Josh, you there?", Hicks had keyed his mic trying to reach Major Josh Bourne, Bravo Wing of the Rubies. "Yeah, I'm here. Did you just see that sheck?" Josh's voice had a note of incredulity in it. "umm, yes. Yes I did. Hey, Rain Man, you wanna tell me who has Oscar fortified?" "Yeah, last I knew that was where Merlino was holed up." "Oh man, life's about to get real nasty for those poor bastards."

Ken didn't have any niodes down on either, so it didn't bother him overly. Damn impressive though, landing that many Dships in that tight of a zone, that just turned into a very bad day for someone. Doesn't matter anyways for him. He heard over the feed how the 123rd [RND} and Dragon Training II had both been caught with their pants down, so his bets were out the window. Crazy though, how Pheonix had dropped levels to come compete in a division that was already so hotly contested. That just bodes as trouble for the rest of us. Ah well, back to blasting mechs, and pillaging booty.
