Naughty Or Nice Part 2 By Joshua Bourne#702128

There was a bright flash of light as the air around them crackled. Around them, the air got a lot hotter, making the metal fizzle and start to melt. Pilots dove from left to right seeking cover before the light finally fade away. All around the members was dust and embers, of which was the produce of their fun, not two minutes ago.

One by one, Pilots came out of cover cautiously, looking towards the crater and expecting another flash. Smoke rose from the Crater as they see it has been made deeper, the dirt on the surface glowing red from the heat. The tree has been reduced to nothing but a melting slag of metal and baubles.

Snow continues to fall around them as they pack up their gear, readying up to leave the planet expecting to flee to safety. Suddenly, their was a loud clap as a ship appears in orbit above them. This ship was bright red with what seems to have a gold trimming on the edges. Smaller Crafts come down from, what appears to be, the Cruiser, making planet fall just in front of them.

All assortments of mechs come from the craft in all matter of formations. First to come out was the smaller suits. The Ants and Axe Bots came towards the party of Pilots with all haste, being lead by a large War Horse and one of those mysterious Trees. All the Pilots rushed to their mechs to fight this new threat facing them. The Exiles lead the Charge, breaking the first wave of opponents with pure firepower. Next to make the push was the {AFF}, using their tactics and numbers to overwhelm the next set of lines. Before long, they were all fighting the First Wave, breaking through time and time again.

Soon, there was only a small amount of mechs in front of them but this was the strongest they sent. The War Horse stood at the front, bearing all the firepower of the opposing mechs while the rest of them fight from behind. This eliminated a few of the members with us. However, one lucky Pilot scored the crucial hit on the War Horse, sending his engine into overload and showering his allies with shards of its red and charred armor pieces.

Finally, the Tree marched forward, playing its soothing music and rotating as it marches. All Pilots risked it getting closer and fired it down with concentrated fire. Pieces flying off of it and its movement halted. Suddenly, Rail fire came from a branch, crippling a mech, then another. This carried on for another few seconds before it finally went down to a devastating blow from an EXACTO Shot, severing it in twain. Over the comms, the roar of cheers and compliments could be heard. But this was far from over. Even as the last piece of remains hit the floor, more crafts make landfall. Bearing stronger forces within them with larger mechs to back them up. All knew this was going to be a tough fight. One that would be a very costly one. But would it be worth it?
