And So That Raid Goes On Part 2 By Andrew Pope #767307

So they stood there , Jake , Andrew and Andri ... the dust started to settle and they where still standing , that had been the plan all along but the on-coming hoard had a different idea .When this thing had started they had been in it as a clan , smurf camp would stand against the unspeakable wrongs that where coming over the crest of the hill , clones .... no ... abominations that were relentless in there cascade down the hill side.

The guns had long since stopped smoking the chemicals that had not fallen on a foe had scorched themselves into the ground and the sun had risen again , to prove that they were worthy of the task that they had stepped up to perform, and then it started , even as the smoke and taste of destruction still lay thick on there thoughts,
small voices had started behind them. Who where these nay - sayers?

Turns out as the smoke clears that they were part of the reason that the 3 stood so tall , they where clan members that had forgotten what it meant to be in a clan forgotten what it was that linked your brother in arms to you and each and every other member. It is that answer that you give to a call to arms , it's the passing of help to another, it's being there not because you want to but because others need you more.

Jake had risen the tallest in that small moment of time that defines an action , and Andrew had followed , assumed leader in the time of crisis and had set personal goals aside to better the clan and Andri had battled with the best. Stopping only to recharge his underpowered guns and re-join the battle, and now the dust has settled and NO ONE ELSE answered the call to arms! People want to hide behind a misjudged belief that  nothing was done.  To those we strong 3 say leave and do not darken our door step again , foolish is the person that leaves without doing their part and heaping the blame on others that they did not help , and locked is the door that they knock on to enter.
