Some of us took damage (or should I say xp) little more than others, so there should be some movement in the clan. Big ones go to their new clan, and maybe some new ones emerge in the low end... but I really don't know details, that's leader stuff and none of my business.
But what about me? I'm level 15 and still in middle of valuating my loot from faction war. As example, got another Quad Turbo Drive -engine, that is usable on 50t-70t mechs. Haven't got any so big mech (40t nephilax is still my biggest), so now I have a little dilemma. If I sell QTD, I get maybe 12 niodes, and could buy some equipment that I actually need little sooner, but on the other hand, I will get those 50t mechs soon enough, and do I then have enough niodes to equip them to full fight condition?
Another niodes/xp related problem is kotm fights. I desperately need more weapons, either to use or sell for niodes, but my xp reserve is gone. So if I do anything other than join an event, I will level up, and then I need to up all my mechs again. Sure, not so big a deal, I can still use them even if they are one level lower than they should be, but if I take that level now, there still is there enough time to up all of them before the first round. So, if I fight in kotm, I get loot but level up too. So what to do, fight and get niodes and at the same time have a few new equip slots to fill, mechs to up and so on. Expensive.
My next problem is time related... or niodes related. I was little greedy at the last mech sale, so I have more under leveled niode mechs than I have fully upgraded ones. And there is only 7 days before the first fight, so that means that I can't level any mech to top condition, but I could make one half way. As 20t specialist is most used after 10t Ant formation, should I go with Axe Bot and try to replace one Shocklite. Or should I go with a Keradon and hope that I get it high enough that I can use it for defense purposes before the war is over. That would mean that I need to buy a few level upgrades... and truth to tell, this text (or should I say niodes from it) is my sole chance to do so. My existing niodes are reserved to the next equipment sale, so I need to get more to use for other purposes.
But something I can, and need, to do. Update my formations. My opponents will be again lowest of low I can find in enemy clans, so I will need all low level specialist formations. That would mean 10t and 20t, 140t and 220t, and of course all rainbows. My main formation will be suitable against every weapon specialist, and every specialist that needs bigger levels are too big for me anyway.
And at the same time that I do those formations again, I will calculate every equipment that I own already, so that when next equipment sale happens, my shopping list would be up to date. It's such a depressing feeling to realize, that you bought one too many of something, so you can't get something else that you would need way earlier. But at the same time you will still need it, not now but after a few more level ups, so there really is no point to sell it back either. So far my shopping list contains 4 Hip Shocks and 2 Zirkonium Windshields. After those it's either Immersive Neural Rig or Nanobot Repair... or both, but I need four of each and haven't got nearly enough niodes... decisions again.
But that's about all I can do before the war. At war time I hunt again the lowest tonnage I can find, so that I get those 8 wins needed for entry loot, and then some more if the leader decides that we try to take a shot at some medal. But that's then, now is the time to make plans that actually could work at war.
