Of late we have been covering much of the higher end weapons/equipment so it is time now to look back on an oldie but goodie the Mauler slug thrower. Available for levels 22 and up, and will set you back 330 Ferrite, 264 Bioptics, and only 8 crystal. Bulk buy is an option here with 5 for 32 crystal, no limits or restrictions. It has a straight Damage of 21 and a speed of 108, no abilities to speak of.

This is very much your old time aim and fire type weapon. Honestly it does well on pretty much any mecha outfitted to handle solid rounds. For the level the damage is nice and the speed isn't bad at all. Stick some on Keradons, or Luisons to cash in on those Projectile damage bonuses. Or even the Oggun the king of the slug throwers for the x2 damage ability built in to the mecha. Really there is no wrong choice here it is a versatile weapon able to handle a wide variety of mechas. It's an old standby for a reason, and the Ogguns come equipped with three as is, so you really can't go wrong here.
