Mycobacter's Premise Fantasy Mecha

The Premise is my 90 ton answer to Drake's Antithesis. I took the core principle behind his mecha of enhanced motion capture and used an entirely different technology for its driving systems then took things further by also using it for targeting applications.

The Premise uses infrared body scanning to read your movements inside the cockpit and thermographic imaging to aim its weapons when targeting foes.  This gives it very high precision.  It is a mecha that primarily specializes in laser weapons.  The dodge bonus isn't very high so to make up for that the Premise has space for many, many shields.  Light gray in color, with laser batteries in the shoulders and on the end of each arm, Premise crackles with deadly energy.
The head has a painted on scowl but the actual "eyes" are located elsewhere on its body.

The experience of piloting a Premise is somewhat unique: its computer vision converts data readouts from the thermographic imaging equipment into composited holographic maps within the cockpit... allowing you to fight "false images" of your foes that are projected across and next to you, physically.

Welcome To Lupercalia

1430- Equatorial Tribal Regions
Lupercalia, Wolf System
6th District
Meiji Shogunate

Its hot on the equator, hot as the deepest pits of Hades. Dry as well, you can only assume the air, sun and sandy dirt are in an eye searing skin peeling conspiracy to rob you of every last bit of moisture in your body. This is Lupercalia, a death world deep in Shogunate territory settled long ago by several Neo-Pagan tribes from old Earth. Death worlds aren't usually paradises. Lupercalia is no exception,

Death stalks you in a million ways, everywhere you walk. If it wasn't the Desert Dragons here around the equator or the Ice Lions of the northern coasts of the single land mass of this hemisphere, it was your fellow Lupercalian trying to rip your life from you. Then leaving with everything you owned. Death worlds don't generally produce saints or angels. Lupercalia is no exception.

The Iron Wolves had been chasing the Red Scars for days. Little sleep and lots of moving were part of life on Lupercalia, the Iron Wolves prided themselves on taking it to a whole other level. No sleep and long days of hunting were standard fare for the Wolves as they stalked the galaxy fighting for whoever offered them the best deal or the best cause. They had run the Red Scars down in retaliation for a minor raid on a caravan of merchants the Wolves had allowed safe passage to. Now the Red Scars would be no more, or the Iron Wolves would all be dining in Marodin's Halls with the war god's Glorious Legions.

"War Captain, I have 43 contacts showing up on screen," Pack Leader Ragnar reported, continuing over the Iron Wolves Battle Circuit, "It would appear we have finally caught up to them brothers" The War Captain could hear the grin in Ragnar's voice.

"Agreed, Pack Leader" The War Captain responded, equally excited. " Come now brothers no long speeches or dramatics, we came here to end these Red Scars and take their Gates, Mecha and land for our War Band. We do it today, none get away, bonded or killed, everyone of em." As the Captain began to nudge the speed of his own mecha up "Now at them brothers in Marodin's name shed their blood!" He finished with a growl.

With the War Captain's command the howls of a pack of hunting wolves erupted over the Battle Circuit and 25 Mecha, the meanest war machines to ever stalk humanity's battlefields, began moving from the column of march into staggered skirmisher lines. Picking up speed as the lines shook themselves out, all 25 pilots were powering up weapons and calling targets over the battle net.

The War Captain kept one eye on the terrain ahead, on the oncoming host of the Red Scar Mecha. The raider tribe's Mecha were a collection of medium to heavys with a few assault class beasts, Torrents and Dreadnoughts likely belonging to leaders of the Scars. The Captain's other eye was on his own Mecha's targeting computers waiting for the range to be perfect. The War Captain's Antithesis was a massive humanoid machine itself, weighing in at 90 tons, and this particular machine boasting a pair of looted Harmonic Disrupters in each arm with a Vadhar auto-cannon in its chest.

His own pack would be the firstinto the fire today. On his right flank in rear echelon, his personal pack hunted. His pack was completed by two Dilophos bracketing an Ignis. Similar in appearance to the ever hungry desert Dragons that called Lupercalia home, this Ignis was the most recent loot for the Wolves during a recent mission off world. Once they closed with the Scars the Ignis' ability to generate a massive plasma cone called the Jurassic Blast, would be useful in the soon to be close quarters mayhem the Wolves preferred. After all, there's only one way to Marodin's Halls, glorious death in battle. A common cause of death on Lupercalia.

"Ragnar's pack take my left flank. Floki's take my right. Smitty, find cover and put those missile systems to good use. Rollo, wait till we are stuck in, then make speed and get around one of those flanks, then hit em. Hard." The Captain snarled out.

A series of Ayes followed, each Pack leader acknowledging his orders. Rollo's Scout Pack, four Luisons equipped with suped up Hot Rod engines, peeled off first, they had the most ground to cover in the least amount of time. Moving with their signature bird gait, the Luisons quickly pulled away from the other packs moving at break neck speed to the right of the Wolves main formation. Kicking up puffs of dust with every step the scouts would hopefully be in position right on time. As the scouts began their run Ragnar and Floki's heavy Mecha packs were coming on line with the Captain's Alpha Pack, racing directly at the Scars clearly disorganized lines.

Pack Leader Tyler "Smitty" Smith was commander of the Iron Wolves Missile Pack. A pair of 75 ton Rook mecha, acquired while under contract to the 99th Chessman RND months ago, with a pair of 75 ton Bishops for close in security made up the Missile Pack. Smitty's own Rook and his battle brother Thar's Rook took up positions in what would soon be the back field of the battle. Taking advantage of a small outcrop of rocks and boulders both Rooks deployed their heavy anchors and started locking onto Scars. They would be in range very soon.

As the Wolves closed the distance with their prey, a storm of fire was already being traded by the two lines. Cannon shells screamed across the field smashing into dirt, stone and armor. Energy weapons connected opponents to one another for the blink of an eye, as missiles poured from the sky falling on both lines with blossoms of flame and steel.

The battle didn't last long. The Assault pack led by the War Captain, with Ragnar and Floki's packs on his flanks, slammed into the Scar center. He drove Garm, his Antithesis, straight at a Scar Dreadnought, howling over his own comms, firing all of his cannons, the Captain blasted tons of armor off of his first target in a matter of seconds and drove through their center, leaving the doubtlessly shaken Dread for his pack to finish off. The War Captain's next target, a fearsome Torrent didn't fare much better. The normally fearsome Mecha was still charging its main guns for another shot at a Wolf when the Captain simply slammed Garm's wrecking ball of a right fist into the heart of the Torrent, with his left he punched the shoulder of the Scar assault Mecha as he pulled his other fist back, sparking electronics and armor plate ripping out with it. The Torrent simply spun and crashed to the parched dirt throwing up a great cloud of dust and sand.

In the rear, Smitty's pack was getting target locks across the field as the War Captain made his charge. The missile pack unlike the rest of the Wolves wasn't piloted by natural born Lupercalians. The four warriors driving were former enemies taken in battle off world. Smitty had proven the Lupercalian custom of bonding captured enemy warriors to the pack after victory. Leading his pack to victory in countless battles and raids as Iron Wolves.

"No frakkin blue on blue boys, make sure we're rainin Hades on these frakkin Scars or ill frakkin gut you frakkers myself!" "Aye sir" the instant reply from all three of his pilots, followed by Thar's steady "Target locked, missiles away, re-loading" Thar's modified Rook, like Smitty's own, sported a pair of twin Tandem Launchers. A missile system designed to mess up a whole lot of folks day all at once. The Tandems threw a wall of flaming steel up into the air arcing across the barren field and slamming into the oncoming Scars, many where already beginning to stall as their lines were being chewed apart by the Iron Wolves.

That's when Rollo finally got where he needed to be, far to the right and coming in on the Scars back side. All four warriors opened up with missile and cannon fire as they entered into range of the Scars. Missiles and cannon rounds tore into the relatively thin rear armor of many of the Scar Mecha. 80 ton beasts fell to the ground with cataclysmic shudders as the "lttle" Luisons opened up with everything they had. The Scar lines were in disarray as the Wolves marauded through their formation.

The Captain had reached the Scar's biggest monster. Likely their own War Captain's mecha, a gargantuan Jadoon with a pair of battered Ogguns flanking it. All three were blazing shots of steel and plasma at the Wolves in their midst.

Cannons blazing, and alarm klaxons blaring as his mecha began reaching the heat danger zone. The War Captain shredded the Ogguns spitting both of them with massive rounds from the Harmonic Disrupter cannons on each arm of his mecha. Mecha guts and shredded armor blew out the Ogguns' backs as armor buckled, systems overloaded and the cannon rounds passed through.

Now standing directly in front of the Jadoon, the Captains mecha sent a heavy kick with its right leg smashing the Jadoons own leg, with Garm's hands the Captain slammed the mecha to the ground slamming multiple ton fists over and over into the Jadoon's cockpit. After he straightened his Mecha back up he glanced at the scanners and was rewarded with nothing but his own Wolves' IFF transponders.

Looking out of his cockpit at the shattered mecha all over the field, the Captain opened up his comms, so all of his War Packs would hear then flipped the switch to the external speakers mounted on Garms humanoid skull. "LOOK HERE MARSODIN! LOOK HERE WHAT WE HAVE DONE FOR YOU! THIS BLOOD WE SHED FOR YOU, GOD OF WAR!" The Iron Wolves once again let loose long fearsome howls. Their savage call the only sound to accompany the dry wind barely lifting the desert sand in to the air.

"Pack Leaders, get me status reports real rikki tik, meet at the remains of this Jadoon, might as well see how much of it we can take home with us." He finished.

"Aye War Captain!" the Pack Leaders answered. With that the Wolves began sorting through the new loot from the Scars, pulling out wounded pilots, accepting their bonds when deserved and giving the quick end to those deemed to weak for the packs. What could be salvaged was loaded up in the nano-steel loot bags every Wolf Mecha was equipped with. It would be a good haul as far as loot went. A couple of decent pilots bonded from the Scars as well.

The Scars had been on the run for days. They were tired. They were desperate. They never had a chance. Even outnumbering the Iron Wolves nearly 2-1 not a solitary Scar would leave the battlefield today. Some would be bonded to the Wolves, Scars no more, A chance to earn their way into the pack themselves. The rest would be dead. Like their tribe.

Good day for the Iron Wolves
Bad day for the Red Scars
Just another day on a Death World.
Welcome to Lupercalia.

To Our Foes

The writing's on the wall. Something said by too many a dictator throughout history, usually in the throes of victory. So easy to say something when your might is self-evident. The leadership of the Zeon Republic sat around their strategic display table. An informal gathering of men who had seen combat, and upon who's faces stood the scars of past exhalation and defeat.

Admiral Ritter lay a hand on the display before him. "Gentlemen. We have warmed our guns on a lowly citizenship. We have tested our metal against a worthy second. We all have an educated idea of who we will face off against in the third round. Now; I think you all see things the way I do. Correct"?

The council gave wry smiles and general nods of agreement. It was true they had found little in respect of a battle Royale on their first encounter. The one point against them had been a sad (and laughable) shot of error by one of their own. That member would be paying the tab for beer for the coming 2 months. Now, as they speculated on the third round, the second was panning out as the fates predicted. So much different from the previous few. So far removed from the usual format.

Rear Admiral Harrison sniffed. "These opponents are not worth our time", he said. "We can sit back and bask in the failings of our enemy". A generalized muttering of concurrence went up. Vice Admiral Ross banged a hand on the table. "Gents! It's easy to take confidence in this small step, but whilst your efforts and leadership have given us glory so far, please remember that we take no opponent lightly". A slow silence fell over the assembly, before Captain Kanoki slammed his glass on the table. "Brothers"! he shouted; "To our enemy and their battle prowess. May their hard earned respect be forever in our minds"!

The officers present raised their glasses, and as one vocalized their admiration for their opponents. "To our foes. Salutae! Good fortune to those of honor"!

Fantasy Mecha: King

Purchase Cost: 15000+ Ferrite, 175000+ Bioptics, 200+ Niodes
Upgrade Cost: -
95 tons
260 Base Armor
Starts with 14 Weapon slots +1 every 4 levels
Minimum Level 80
Manufacturer: Talbus Armaments
Starting Weapons: 1 Khron, 1 Sikuliaq, 2 Creeping Chill, 6 Crystalion, 4 White Knight
Level 1 bonuses: -7 Speed, +10% Ice Damage, Slow (5), 5% Freeze, Dodge (-8)
Level 125 equipment: 7 Cockpit, 5 chassis, 5 Engine, 5 Shield
Level 125 bonuses: +17 Speed, +62% Ice Damage, 16% 3xDamage, Slow (63), 36% Freeze, Crit-kill 6%, Dodge (-8), Laser Shield (36), Laser Shield 15%, Missile Shield (36), Projectile Shield (36), Fire Shield (36), Fire Shield 7%, Ice Shield (36), Ice Shield 8%, Fork Shield 20%, Wide Fork Shield 33%

Once issues with the Queen were sorted out Cog-Marshal Taggart approached Talbus Armaments and commissioned a specific mecha design for his personal use. He didn’t want to pilot it and didn’t care if it required one or two pilots but he did want it to house and protect himself, key members of his command staff, and be able to command the operation of at least 26 companies of at least 30 mecha each simultaneously. It needed to protect itself if necessary and dominate the Electronic Warfare within 100 kilometers. Then he simply said “Impress me.” and he was.

The end result was the King class Mobile Command and Control Center. Ninety-five tons of armor, shielding, communications and electronic warfare equipment, with a crew of two and able to carry 6 command level personnel with full access to communications, each other and a strategic holographic display all walking on two very large feet. It uses some of the best sensors and communications systems Talbus Armament has ever developed, separate computers are used for the crew piloting and fighting the mecha and the communications and sensors used by the command personnel but they can share data. Jamming equipment will even hinder most area effect missile swarms guidance and target coordination systems

Unfortunately this is not a fast moving mecha although it can bring its weapons to bear easily it isn’t going to win any races and has trouble evading and dodging incoming attacks. However, the armor is the thickest Talbus Armaments has ever used, based on technologies developed with all their lighter mecha, meaning the hits it can’t dodge it can usually take. Although they figured a command mecha will never be alone unless its escorts have been killed the King MC3 is armed. Offensive capabilities are provided by up scaled versions of the freeze cannon used on the Sever with very smooth and quick responding actuators, so although the mecha is slow its weapons are not, modifications for lower recharging time and faster firing rate make these weapons deadly to anything. The arm mounts were designed to swing through a 300 degree arc so that they can cover the rear as well as front of the mecha and because it’s easier to swing the freeze cannons around than the entire mecha.

(Unfortunately my scanner is out so my illustrations for this are not available I'll have to try another way. Looks like a Rook with a white paint job but slightly taller instead of missile launchers all over its torso and shoulders it would have sensors similar to the right arm of the Sever and two freeze cannon from the Severs left shoulder for arms. The three most commonly used colors for Chess pieces are Black, White and Red, the Bishop is Black, the Rook red a color often used to designate artillery units, the Pawn, Knight, Queen and King should be colored so that there are two mecha of each color. Also all numbers in the statistics are subject to change to make the mecha playable and balanced.)

Fantasy Mecha: Queen

Purchase Cost: (17500 Ferrite, 15000 Bioptics, 300+ Crystal)
Upgrade Cost: -
85 tons
200 Base Armor
Starts with 10 Weapon slots +1 every 6 levels
Minimum Level 75
Manufacturer: Talbus Armaments
Starting Weapons: 2 Hex Cannon, 4 Wrecker Shot, 4 Smooth Bore
Level 1 bonuses: -20 Speed, +10% Projectile Damage, 5% Trample, 5% Splash
Level 110 equipment: 5 Cockpit, 5 chassis, 4 Engine, 5 Shield
Level 110 bonuses: +12 Speed, +64% Projectile Damage, 13% 3xDamage, 25% Trample, 25% Splash, Crit-kill 2%

The Talbus Armaments designers had a theme they were working with now which had started unintentionally with the Bishop and Rook but had been built upon with the Pawn and Knight. Marketing wanted a super-heavy artillery mecha in the sales portfolio since they didn’t have one yet. Accounting wanted the cost to be kept down on the development for a change.

A little historical research indicated that the phrase “King of Battle” at one time referred to field artillery because of the death toll it caused and how it could shape the battle field itself. Infantry had been referred to as the “Queen of Battle” because it is the most versatile component of the military and its ability to go anywhere. But then things got confusing and some historical references call the artillery the Queen of Battle or armored fighting vehicles. So they decided to just go with whatever seemed right.

Unlike missiles projectile weapon ammunition is very dense and the faster the cannons the more ammo needed to feed them. They realized this mecha would be larger than the Bishop, Knight or Rook but they wanted it to be somewhat similar. To keep cost down they scaled up and reinforced the Bishops frame, keeping the same general body shape but larger. To provide optimal fields of fire cannons were mounted on the arms and shoulders, however they also wanted to make something distinctive and visually different from the new Dreadnaught they had heard of so they tried to find other places to mount additional cannons. After several tries and increasing grumblings from accounting late one night an engineer decide that a sphere or ball and socket mount similar to the main gun on a Megazome would solve their problems, a few simulations and showing the revised design to the other engineers on the project and they all agreed it would be perfect. The obvious place for the weapons and the only place the ball mounts fit was on the chest of the mecha either side of the center line because the rest of the torso held the main power plant for the mecha.

Targeting systems for ballistic projectile weapons even when they have to compensate for differing atmospheres and gravitational fields are quite simple since humans have been designing them for thousands of years, so fire control kept cost down. They had already developed interlinking communication software for fire missions for the Pawn and Rook and the same systems would work in this mecha. The biggest problem was dealing with recoil when all cannons were firing, on the Rook the foot bracing made for a more stable firing platform their by increasing accuracy, similar extendable bracing was added to this mecha to adjust for the pounding recoil and keep it upright and mobile. Additional recoil compensators were added to the cockpit to protect the computers and pilots of the mecha.

The engineers were happy and had completed the mecha under budget so accounting was happy. When Cog-Marshal Taggart saw it he was happy and declared it a beautiful Queen of the modern battlefield. Then marketing saw it and kind of freaked out and insisted some market research be done before they released a mecha onto the market that might have major publicity issues especially with female and the more religiously conservative pilots in the galaxy.

(Unfortunately my scanner is out so my illustrations for this are not available I'll have to try another way. Looks like a taller Bishop with a red paint job and cannons on arms and shoulders and two Megazome style ball mount cannon on chest and with reinforced bracings on feet.

Fantasy Mecha: Knight

Purchase Cost: 10000 Ferrite, 14000 Bioptics, 100+ Niodes
Upgrade Cost:
75 tons
150 Base Armor
Starts with 8 Weapon slots +1 every 5 levels
Minimum Level 50
Manufacturer: Talbus Armaments
Starting Weapons: 2 Diabolis Nozzle, 2 Assault Plasma, 2 Mag Chain, 2 Magmolator
Level 1 bonuses: -9 Speed, +6% Fire Damage, 10% Laser Vulnerable, 10% Missile vulnerable
Level 100 equipment: 5 Cockpit, 5 chassis, 5 Engine, 3 Shield
Level 100 bonuses:+15 Speed, +56% Fire Damage, +7% 3xDamage, +5% Burn, +3% Crit-kill, +30 dodge, 15% laser vulnerable, 15% missile vulnerable.

Being based in the Society of Cogwerk Planets has resulted in Talbus Armaments being much more willing to take risks and experiment with designs that others might consider insane, dangerous, or even insanely dangerous. This is partially because that often also applies to the engineers from Cogwerk space that apply for jobs with Talbus and also their target market of mercenaries and clans from Cogwerk space and the fringe. Sometimes these ideas get off the drawing board, through testing and actually into mass production.

Usually such ideas start with a problem in need of solving. In the case of the Knight it was maneuverability in loose or wet terrain were the ground pressure created by mecha feet becomes problematic. Maybe if they could make the mecha hover above such terrain it could still maneuver and still use ground clutter to protect it from anti-aircraft weapons fire. Someone got the bright idea to take the liquid fueled thrusters from a second hand dropship and slap them on the legs and back of a mecha, since the thruster harness used in space and for slowing a mecha from and orbital drop wasn't strong enough to provide lift on most worlds.

As such things go additional ideas get added to the first. The thinking went that hovering above loose terrain in which a mecha might sink was good but being able to leap small buildings or fortifications or scale large buildings and mountains was better. Another problem they had was steering so control surfaces were added to the back and shoulders but they still had stability issues. So they replaced the hands/primary weapon mounts with a pair of thrusters as well which solved that issue finally.

Now of course the mecha was practically unarmed, however a test pilot proved that to be a non-issue during a combat exercise he jumped up to a target, braced the mecha and then fired the hand thrusters on full throttle with after burners into the target. The test mecha was thrown on its back and bent several of its control surfaces but the target was destroyed and burning. So the thinking went if they used vectored ionic plasma thrusters not only would the accuracy of jumping be improved further but the plasma exhaust could be adjusted easily from thrust to weapons modes such as a short ranged plasma cutter or a long ranged plasma pulse. They just need to add an ionic plasma reactor to the mecha and then route plasma conduits to all the thruster locations where the new thrusters would be.

This had an added benefit of removing the massive and vulnerable air intakes from the front of the mecha as well getting rid of the massive fuel tank on the back and the miles of fuel lines they had been dealing with. It also made the mech capable of flight in space, without the use of a maneuver harness that most mecha need in zero-gravity environments, although it could not lift itself from the surface of a world. It performed very well in orbital combat trials as well as moving with a fluid grace unmatched by other mecha, although by now the test pilots were really getting used to the mecha and its controls.

At this point they had to find a market for the new mecha, they had spent too much money on development and accounting was now insisting on seeing some sort of return. So invitations were sent to to Talbus Armaments biggest buyers and the test pilots took the mecha though its paces at a tournament. Cog-Marshal Taggart was very very impressed by the mechas ability to attack from unexpected directions and withdrawing from threats just as fast. He declared it to be a Knight of the Mecha age and was eager to add them to his growing force of Bishops and Rooks.

(Unfortunately my scanner is out so my illustrations for this are not available I'll have to try another way. Looks like the Bishop but with streamlined shoulders, thin maneuvering "wings" coming out of its back and thrusters/weapons for hands and feet, paint job should be white.

Primary Inhabitants Of The Negaverse (A History)

First off, one must understand the cosmology of the dominant civilizations in a place to begin properly understanding that place. The Negaverse was shaped by one key event of our own prehistory. It was "discovered" by accident during the last in the series of Kellek's many attempts to return to his own time in defiance of his banishment by Roah and the other Forerunners.  Rushed gate construction meant that many of Kellek's revenge gates possess Niode matrices that have idiosyncrasies.  This was desired for anachronous warping but is derided by Drochah oh-Thyehgr as a quite sloppy method of time travel much less elegant than his own temporal manipulations.  That commentary aside, what would be Kellek's final resting place was a parallel universe nearby ours. You see, he didn't succeed, chronologically speaking. The time period Kellek jumped to was still chronologically locked at our prehistory and the Negaverse's Norunners at this point were still at the very early stages of guiding the evolution of their servitor races.  The more primitive Nobearer civilization was heavily influenced by Kellek and impressed by the slapped together technologies he possessed which though not as advanced as those of Roah and the others back in our own time window were still a good deal more sophisticated than what the Norunners had access to prior to his arrival.

The Norunners began worshiping Kellek as a god, and the screwed up values they developed were in line with those of the mad warlord.  These are: 1.) Domination of one's environment is good. This allows you to maximally exploit the life forms and natural resources to your fullest capacity. 2.) Disregard for the consequences of one's actions is fine as long as it gets you what you want.  Forcibly alter the atmosphere of a planet or irrevocably change the natural course of evolution for a population of lower/lesser life forms? As long as you can still use it to your advantage, not a problem! 3.) Development of cabals allows you to outnumber your enemies right in front of their noses.

Unbeknownst to the Norunners this was a strategy Kellek implemented to keep them divided, allowing him to quickly and permanently establish himself at the top of their hierarchy... by eliminating any but those who were unified in their support of him.  Though not the exact revenge he had wanted, taking things out on the Negaverse did allow Kellek to achieve a form of it.  He wound up crafting an entire dimension's Forerunners into his own servitor race!

Anyway, after he died the Norunners (whom he had also deemed to be a lesser species than himself and done a series of experiments on) wanted to maintain their status quo and felt the best way to do this was through emulating Kellek.  They adapted his brutal methods to their subjugation of the Negaverse.

Cybernetic grafting, horrific induced mutations, surgical alterations and other extreme techniques which they saw their terrifying god-king and pharaoh use to terrific effect in his armies on his soldiers and on themselves inspired the Nobearers to go out and craft their own servitor races in a similar fashion, while continuing to modify themselves.  They felt these transmogrifications were "self-improvement" and this distinct paradigm shift after Kellek (that the transformations are not simply a tool but in and of themselves a desired state) carried on all the way down into many of the Norunners own creations.  You'll find it as a recurring central motif in the major religions of Antihuman society to this day.

I say many of their creations because there are a few notable exceptions.

One opposition Norunner, though still about as horrible as the rest realized that strict adherence to Kellek's laws would not be sustainable to Norunner civilization as he observed Antihuman societies start developing.  So he created the Ratmen as a race of cleaner uppers to deal with the pollution and other problems generated by the wasteful Antihumans.  He instilled them with a somewhat modified set of Nobearer values, so the Ratmen would view recycling as the highest form of resource exploitation and scavenging the ideal way to dominate ones' environment.  I say equally as horrible because he shared the cruelty of his other Norunners. Before he could finish breeding them for obedience some escaped into the wild.  The Ratmen are loath to transmogrification and the more holistic culture of their civilization allows them to dwell within and underneath that of the Antihumans.  These two groups, the Antihumans and Ratmen exist adjacent to each other if not in complete symbiosis then at least commensally for the most part, although occasional conflicts between the two are not unheard of.

Antihumans, to psychologically cope with their nasty way of life took to their cults of transformation with upper echelons of clergy in these often articulating the typical commonly held erroneous delusion that they are the direct descendents of Norunners (instead of simply their discarded playthings) in their teachings.  Transmogrification societies dedicated to this dark "self-improvement" dot the Antihuman cultural landscape.  However, among the more urbane and erudite of these, it is generally acknowledged that the Norunners were both great and terrible, tremendously selfish powerful beings, who lacking scruples, would oft swoop down on worlds, bringing a host of pestilence, famine and mutations.

These religions tend to take two forms:
Moderates: Unlike their original Norunner creators, these Antihumans believe it should be one's choice what "improvements" to receive. Take charge of your own destiny by directing your own literal transformation (to what extent you can!).  Transmogrification is to be done for reasons that are the personal, as a means of surviving to extend one's life in spite of ailing health or sterility, make doing certain tasks easier, etc.  This self-improvement is celebrated in contemporary Antihuman society. Praise Kellek!

Hardliners: There are rumors of fanatic sects attempting to gather what technology and dark secrets they can to resurrect or revive the preserved remains of their demonic Norunner "gods", as a general backlash to the more moderate form of transformation occultism gaining popularity... something they regard as infectious blasphemy committed by heretics.  Who are we to act outside the interests of our betters who came before us?  We must keep things as they were.  To return things to how they "should be". In order to keep carrying out the Norunner legacy (and by extension Kellek's revenge). it must be in the way which they had intended!

Breaking News

A lot of rumors have been spreading in the Galaxy about Bacon Addicts  losing to Exiles. The one that seems to be the most realistic is that they had a massive party with BCDC, how true this is we do not know but with Clans facing the same clans again for Cw it just seems as if there was a massive party and the rest of the Galaxy was not even invited.

Unknown source

1. "So how do You feel about Bacon Addicts losing to Exiles ?"

2. "Tbh I feel like calling BCDC out on supplying bacon addicts with bacon & beer to bribe them/dull their senses before war! I mean it looked as if they did not even put up a challenge."

1."hahaha lol. I don't think that will help the much. Not after the party that they had"

2. "I know I know.....but I've got to laugh or cry.....& I've got to come up with something at least half amusing otherwise I'll just weeeeeeeeep. I mean if you're so drunk you can't type 2 words without typos.....please don't come to CW"

1."Well it's always fun to drink and drive until you crash and on the other hand you were not the only person that bid niodes on this clan. I mean a lot of people bid niodes on this Clan."

2. " Totally, I mean you bid on them,  I did and many other did. They are a strong clan. I did not think that   Exiles would be able to take them so easily out."

1 " I totally agree with You ______. But on the other hand maybe Exiles was just a better clan then what they were."

Star Factories planned to dominate the market as usual with its reverse engineer replicas of ancient alien mecha but not everyone is willing to pay Star Factory prices especially on the fringe. An “acquired” Aspis and some corporate espionage later and Talbus Armaments began work on new forms of shielding as well. They were able to replicate the effects of the trample and splash shielding with a combination of area defense systems, electromagnetic fields and high density armors.

These new defensive systems were placed on a short humanoid test bed mecha chassis for system testing. During a fringe technology showcase demo one of these sprinted forward and took a defensive stance as it activated its defense suite and provided cover for a Bishop that was able to fire unhindered by incoming area effect weapons meant for both of them. Against the protests that it was a technology test bad and not even a prototype, watching Cog-Marshal Taggert announced, “They are the perfect Pawns for your Bishop and Rook, I’ll take them.”

Many fail to understand the true purpose of a Pawn, they see it simply as something expendable, nothing more than cannon fodder. Unfortunately that has become one meaning of the word, but in a game of chess a Pawn is so much more. It is mobile terrain and a shield dictating where you and your opponent maneuver and protecting others around and behind it. Above all it is potential, which when made the best use of and kept alive can truly devastate an opponent.

Then came the work of turning a technology test bed into a full combat mecha prototype and then production models. They had to sacrifice some weapon mounts for the point defense system and its offensive firepower is less than other heavy mecha. However it is sturdy and can take a beating like nothing else and protect other mecha in the process.

The armor used had been designed for heavier mecha and the electro-magnetic field generators required reinforcing all the actuators especially in the shoulders. This gives the Pawn a squat, stocky appearance. The arm shields are the primary offensive weapon mounts but also heavily armored and house sensors for the point and area defense systems as well as the shield generators for energy based defenses. The two shields allow the pilot of the Pawn to defend mecha behind and to either side of it and communicate targeting information to other units. This inter intercommunication allows several Pawns to be even more effective than a single one and also allows them to spot for artillery fire and counter- artillery from mecha such as the Rook and Queen.

(Unfortunately my scanner is out so my illustrations for this are not available I'll have to try another way. Looks like a short stocky Bishop with a similar black paint job and point defense weapons on its shoulders and a shield on each arm.

Fantasy Mecha: Model B

Purchase Cost: 1000 Ferrite, 450 to 600 Bioptics, 25 to 30 Crystal
Upgrade Cost:
25 tons
50 Base Armor
Starts with 2 Weapon slots +1 every 6 levels
Minimum Level 11
Manufacturer: AlphaCorp
Starting Weapons: 1 Fury Laser, 1 Small Mordem
Level 1 bonuses: 6 Speed, +5% Laser Damage, +5% Missile Damage
Level 88 equipment: 3 Cockpit, 0 chassis, 2 Engine, 3 Shield
Level 88 bonuses: 33 Speed, +75% Laser Damage, +75% Missile Damage, 35 Precision

Alpha Corps Model B was a competing design with Consolidated Mecha’s Nerio they look almost identical. Its fire control system is much more dedicated which saves on cost and simplifies the design. The actuators are not quite as responsive so reaction time is slower than the Nerio but not by much.

Unlike the Nerio purchase does not require niodes, making it a bargain out on the fringe. Lower cost materials and parts make it easily repaired in the field and easy to maintain by even civilians. Although some combat pilots deride the flimsy armor and cost cutting measures throughout the mecha for many people this is a selling point. It lower cost parts and simple but elegant engineering make it very easy to customize.

Although the missile launcher does require ammunition the laser systems do not which is a further expense saver. The missile bay can also be used for a variety of chemical canister launchers which have many applications in the civilian markets. All this makes it a favorite of independent crystal farmers across the outer Fringe,

(looks pretty much exactly like the Nerio, laser damage and missile damage is based on the average damage increase given the Niero with its x3 Damage bonus of 35% that it has by level 105)

First Day Of CW Wrap Up Pt.2

Good day to all G.G. fans, her is the results of the first battle of Clan Wars XVIII (Day 1 ) with some Info on the clans. Division’s 6-11.

Death's Jokers {AFF} 118 taking a loss to ~Heroes~ 118 – 157
The Republic Of Zeon will be the clan to beat in this Division. ~Heroes~ is the former gold Winners in division 4 of Clan Wars XVII. ~Heroes~, Smurf Legion, The Omegas and The Republic Of Zeon will be battling it out for the silver medal in the Next round. Then the two winners of these 4 clans will battle then for Gold and I predict that The Republic Of Zeon will face off against ~Heroes~ for the gold medal.

Division 7
Steel Vipers with a win over Abominable Snowmen (MMI) 94 - 54.
*Knights of Vengeance* with a close win over 64th Armored Engineers [RND] 74 - 72.

Dvision 7 will be a tight division with 4 former Silver medal winners out of Clan Wars XVII and a few of them have also taken Gold. With Stirling's Fusiliers that merged with 1st Kearney Highlanders for this war. 1st Kearney Highlanders stand a good chance in winning this division but anything can still happen. Steel Vipers, *Knights of Vengeance*, 1st Kearney Highlanders and Black Star Lycan Rangers will be facing of in the second round of CW XVIII for the silver medals and then two of those clans will go through for a chance at Gold .

Division 8

Death's Curse {AFF} Most likely the all-time favorites in this division unless you go up against them then they are not your favorites. Death's Curse {AFF} has won several gold medals in Clan wars but so have 82nd Omicron Guard [RND] also don’t forget about The Black Company or Wolverine Death Stalkers. Thes 4 clans will be facing one another in the second round of Clan Wars XVIII for the silver medal. Who will walk out as the champion ?

Personally I predict that 2 of these 3 clans will end up in the final round Exile's Evolution, *Rabid Bunny Surfers RV* and Smurf Brigade. These 3 clans with Black Star Bandits will also be facing off against one another in the next round for their silver medals.

Division 10

Clan Hell's Horses with a close win over Ghost Bear 82 - 78.
Eridani Light Horse 151st Striker Rgmt lost to Blue Octet Dragons (Death Dealers) 39 - 60.
Smurf Battalion, Samurai Mecha, Clan Hell's Horses and Blue Octet Dragons (Death Dealers) are the 4 clans that still stand a chance of winning Gold. I predict that Smurf Battalion and Samurai Mecha will battle it out for the Gold medal but I may be wrong.

Division 11
99th Chessmen R&D Core [RND] won over Northwind Militia 80 - 20.
MacLeod's Regiment won over Eridani 71st Light Horse Regiment 88 – 0.
Mech Warriors lost to *Spawns of Vengeance* 95 – 140.
FireFly won against DELTA RECON 102 – 66.

First Day of CW Wrap Up Pt.1

Good day to all G.G. fans, here is the results of the first battle of Clan Wars XVIII (Day 1 ) with some Info on the Clans. Division’s 1-5

Division 1
Cyberstorm gets their 1st win of 3 over Northwind Highlanders 64 – 25.

Their next battle will be a Single Rainbow battle.
As always Cyberstorm and Northwind Highlanders have been the biggest two rivals in the whole Galaxy. Cyberstorm seems to still have the edge over Northwind Highlanders but not so much as they used to have.
Also the score seems to be very close between these two clans and the weapon that was on special for this Clan Wars may not be as what many expected.

Division 2
Northwind Fusiliers won over Death's BattleForce {AFF} with a massive score of 357 – 18 .
The Isle of Misfit Toys (MMI) with an easy win over Dilligaf 58 – 4.

Northwind Fusiliers is definitely one of the Clans to look out for in this Division but then at the same time so is The Isle of Misfit Toys (MMI) also their biggest rivals. So far The Isle of Misfit Toys (MMI) has been the dominating force over Northwind Fusiliers, but I do smell a change in the air.
Death's BattleForce {AFF} and Dilligaf will most likely battle it out for the Bronze medal.

Division 3
The Red Comet (MMI) with an easy win over Myth & Legends: Black Cats 13th Armored Division 151 - 14.
*Raging Vengeance* lost to Death's Collectors {AFF} 43 – 88.

The Red Comet (MMI) the all-time favorites in this division will most likely take Gold over Death’s Collectors unless they can stop them.
Myth & Legends: Black Cats 13th Armored Division and *Raging Vengeance* will battle it out for the Bronze medal in Division 3

Division 4
Death's StrikeForce {AFF} lost to Black Watch 14 – 110.
Slaughter House 5 won over Omega Marauders [HR] 110 - 67.

My prediction for the Gold in this Division will be Black Watch and Slaughter House 5 both of these clans have not yet won Gold so this will be their first time. I’ll put my bet on Black Watch to take this Division but anything can happen.
Death's StrikeForce {AFF} and Omega Marauders [HR] will most lily battle it out for the Bronze medal in Division 4.

Division 5
Death's Disciples {AFF} with an easy win over The Blazing Aces E.S.F. 197- 9.
*RV Elite Sp Ops* with an win over Star League 66 – 44.

Most of the clansare going to have a hard time against the former Gold winners Death's Disciples {AFF}. To me this division is already set with Death's Disciples {AFF} as the Gold winners but maybe one of the other clans will surprise us and take it from them.

10 tons
20 Base Armor
Starts with 1 Weapon slots +1 every 6 levels
Minimum Level 3
Manufacturer: Talbus Armaments
Starting Weapons: 1 Light Autocannon (projectile, damage 3, speed 110)
Level 1 bonuses: 0 Speed, +5% Projectile Damage
Level 110 equipment: 3 Cockpit, 1 chassis, 0 Engine, 3 Shield
Level 110 bonuses: 30 Speed, +40% Laser Damage, +40% Projectile Damage, 30 Precision, Laser Shield (55), Laser Shield 10%, Missile Shield (55), Projectile Shield (55), Fire Shield (45), Fire Shield 5%, Ice Shield (45), Ice Shield 5%

The third most common Red Ant variant named for distinctive copper and bronze plating used in its armor was created in the Society of Cogwerk Planets. Although ballistic weapons are very common on the Fringe and in Cogwerk space there are also many unusual and exotic weapons many of which strike with an ionic energy discharge similar if not exactly the same as lightning. Some of these weapons are designed to just cause damage others are designed to short out and overload circuitry and power systems disabling a mecha. The effects of such weapons can be mitigated with the right materials and by grounding the target.

The Copper Ant protects itself from such weapons with its unusual armor and with grounding spikes or cleats on the bottom of its feet. This has a slight disadvantage however of removing most of the softer materials used on the underside of mecha feet meaning this light weight 10 mecha will tear up roads as badly if not worse than many heaver mecha. It’s also quite a bit noisier than most light mecha when it moves.

Talbus Armaments makes the Copper Ant with either a hydrogen fuel cell or a chemical multi-fuel power plant. The exhaust pipes for these stick up over the shoulders of the mecha and you can tell what type of engine it has by whether those pipes are venting steam of smoke. Some people say you can tell the type of fuel being used by the color of the smoke. Talbus Armaments suggests only the hydrogen fuel cell version be used outside of atmospheres and that they take no responsibility for a pilot taking chemical multi-fuel power plants through a gateway to a world with a combustible atmosphere.

(Looks like a copper and bronze or brown and orange Red Ant with exhaust pipes on its back, speed was reduced due to speed of projectile weapons maximum damage bonus was reduced because it does not specialize in just one type of weapon and is therefore more flexible, I was considering giving it a missile damage bonus in which case they would all be reduced to 30%)

Fantasy Mecha: Black Ant

Purchase Cost: 130 Ferrite, 120 Bioptics
Upgrade Cost:
10 tons
20 Base Armor
Starts with 1 Weapon slots +1 every 6 levels
Minimum Level 1
Manufacturer: AlphaCorp
Starting Weapons: 1 Heavy Machinegun (projectile, damage 1, speed 110)
Level 1 bonuses: 0 Speed, +5% Projectile Damage
Level 110 equipment: 3 Cockpit, 1 chassis, 0 Engine, 3 Shield
Level 110 bonuses: 30 Speed, +95% Projectile Damage, 30 Precision, Laser Shield (55), Missile Shield (55), Projectile Shield (55), Fire Shield (45), Ice Shield (45)

Alpha Corp calls it the Model A but pretty much everyone familiar with the Red Ant calls it the Black Ant. The Illyrian Hegemony beat the Meji shogunate by just a couple years in fielding the Red Ant first. To get the Model A into the field as fast as possible the Meji Shogunate decided to cut some corners on initial production models and make up for it later. The engineers at AlphaCorp may not be as creative as the independent Hermit-Engineers or Cyber-Monks of the mecha monasteries but they can reverse engineer things faster than most and are very good at finding more efficient ways of doing things.

In 3089 the Meji Shogunate forces began fielding the Model A against Illyrian Hegemony incursions into their territory. Unlike the laser toting Red Ant the Black Ant carried a heavy machine gun and had to worry about ammunition supplies as well, the first several production runs also had no exo-atmospheric capabilities and very limited life support systems. These choices had made it easier to field the Model A quickly enough to save the Shogunate at the time from Hegemony domination.

Ammunition became a big issue in 3090 when Hegemony forces cut off supplies to a battalion of Model A’s and demanded that they surrender. However battalion commander Hagane ordered the units maintenance personnel to provide each functioning Model A a meter long bayonet and a large blade as back up from the metal armor and frames of mecha too badly damaged to repair. The Hegemony had forgotten that all members of the Shogunate Warrior caste practice swordsmanship regularly and that they would rather die than be dishonored by surrendering. When they moved in to destroy the besieged battalion they were surprised that as the Shogunate guns went silent they counter-charged the attacking Hegemony Red Ants and engaged them in melee combat. Such blades are now common modifications on Shogunate mecha.

Since then the Model A has been only slightly changed to improve life support, engine efficiency and being able to operate in any atmospheric environment. It has also become popular on the fringe were cheep ballistic weapons are much more common than energy beam weapons. As such AlphaCorp actually exports many Model A’s deliberately labeled Black Ants to the Society of Cogwerk Planets and the Fringe.

(Looks like a black version of the Red Ant maybe with a bayonet on its weapon, speed was reduced to make up for the fact that Ballistic weapons are faster than laser weapons)

Absolutely Zero

I nearly drove myself to the point of bankruptcy going to great pains to completely refurbish an old Frigis mecha, part of why I named it Zero (both in reference to Absolute Zero the theoretical coldest of cold temperatures anything can reach and as a self-deprecating callback to having ran out of Niodes funding this restoration project).  My boss and editor at Galaxy Gathering, Patrick Willis is somewhat of an authority on these and based off a tip I'd received from him, I'd thawed Zero, my "new" Frigis from a glacier it was found trapped in on Sigiss-6.  After removing the corpse of its previous owner and cleaning the cockpit, stripping the wrecked components and replacing all the rusted equipment I feel like I finally have a new weapon worthy of participating in Clan Wars XVIII.

Armaments: For weapons I kept the Galaxy Eye, Arctic Gale and Flash Freeze.  I upped the number of Res Lasers from 2 to 7, tacked on 2 Hyper Amps, and scrapped the two Focused Icers instead swapping them out for 2 Envelopers, 4 White Knights and 5 Yeti's Banes.

Cockpit Features:  The cockpit expansion slots on a Frigis are a tad spartan but 3 spaces can still be enough to pack an adequate helping of targeting and sensor equipment.  I consider the Frigis mecha the ideal vehicle for I.C.E. targeting, so that choice seemed obvious.  In the remaining two slots I have housed a significantly overclocked Betrus Processor running a Battle AI.

Chassis Features: On upgrading this Frigis (dubbed "Zero") to level 58 a generous 6 Chassis slots became available for me to tinker with on it.  This is where the fun starts.  I fully decked Zero out with Magnetic Connectors, Wheeled Feet, A Coolant System, Muon Junction, set of Heracles Fibers and an Energy Aura unit.

Engines:  On upgrading to level 40, the Frigis has 4 Engine slots available to it.
I gave Zero an Indefinite Singularity, Caged Singularity, Dark Matter Converter and a Shrieker Mark 2.

Featured Shielding:  Zero had a total of 4 shield slots become available on upgrading to level 45.  I chose four Delta shields: Arctic (Ice), Thiokol (missiles), Faraday (lasers), and Caudata (fire).  An unusual thing to note about the Frigis mecha is that is an Ice based mech that happens to have a naturally occurring 10% ice vulnerability.

I wonder how exactly the previous owner had met his demise but that is but a passing curiousity.  What's more concrete is that renovating Zero has given me a powerful new Ice and Laser armed mecha in time for the latest upcoming Clan War.

Ignitor The Ignis Mecha Spotlight

We're Samurai Mecha, officially on the books we don't "exist" but secretly the Emperor of Shogunate space calls on us to clean up the empire's messes.  One such mess went beyond Yomi Reef.  A few Meiji diplomats in the beginning foolishly thought they could negotiate with Drochah oh-Thyehgr.  Then they tried to.  Needless to say, things were tense and negotiations rather quickly devolved.  To avert outright war, the emperor called upon us, his 'dear' hardened ex military "lost boy" elite mercenaries to put out the conflict.
We kicked that time traveling overlord's ass and got our pay, simple enough.  That said, it was an eye opener to many new strange types of technology and uses of Niodes most had previously thought impossible which taught us that the universe is indeed a far weirder place than even we had suspected.

My prize from that particular skirmish (which occurred following the conclusion of Clan Wars XVII) was an Ignis mech.  I've continued fighting remnants of Drochah's forces, taking down Giguses that made up the strike forces of his brainwashed thralls, fools who had sacrificed their humanity thinking that siding with this self-proclaimed "last Forebearer" would result in anything but the human race's destruction.  As a result, this Ignis which I've named "Ignitor" houses TWENTY Rupture Shots making it capable of putting forward a roaring wall of ultra hot hellfire.

Those who go up against me in Ignitor have a choice in how they will be burnt to a crisp... in addition to the banks of Rupture Shots, and its varied standard Ignis armaments of a Heat Ray, Hephaistos, and twin Jurassic Blasts, Ignitor also houses a Kojin Stove.  Since just having flame weapons would get a tad monotonous, for variety's sake I've also installed Ignitor with a Black Widow and two Hyper Amps.

These prehistoric seeming Dinosaur mecha are somewhat different from the Kaiju Beast Mecha and seem to have been designed to have the Forerunner's psychological gestalt + engrams in mind for their intended pilots.  It would be a little strange for your average mecha user to adjust to.  Thankfully I am not your average mecha user; Like Evil Santa and Jonathan Judas before me I have also had my body modified by Forerunner technology.  However, unlike them, my "integration" to being a post  human was not cybernetic but transgenic in nature. That is, it was through biological vectors. A Haptic Interface and Neural Recalibrator helmet work well with my modified external physiology.  Drochah called me a freak of nature that shouldn't exist.  Shouldn't exist perhaps so, and yet I do.  You see, my "skin", thanks to its transfection with Forerunner genetic material using colonies of hybrid bacteria, has gradually been replaced with an alien external tissue which seems to confer a distinct advantage to me in using recovered Forerunner technology.

Anyway, back to the cockpit features... rounding things out, to complement the interface terminals I installed three Sensor Arrays on Ignitor to overhaul his Hyper Amps and Black Widow laser. The chassis makeup is perhaps a bit more interesting my friends.  Two sets of Trilerian Sprockets confer a nearly unreal amount of dodge to this 90 tonner, with a paired Energy Aura unit and Muon Junction adding to the cascading amplified freeze bonus already put into play by the triplet of Sensor Arrays.  For engines Ignitor has a Dark Matter Converter that feeds a Caged Singularity through two Heat Cyclers, giving a clocked speed of 56 (minus the 28 inertia to still have a net speed of 28).  This equipment configuration of Cockpit, Chassis and Engine combinations together gives Ignitor 46 Precision, a boosted Dodge of 50, 6 Auto Repair, increased 24% Freeze ability, a Slow ability of 8, boosted 20% Fork bonus, Shield value of 129 and a modest 6% Trample with 3% increased chance triple damage.

Ignitor's shields are four Delta units: Thiokol, Arctic, Caudata and MNTN to protect it against Missiles, Ice, Fire and Projectiles. Yeah, I know you're still out there Drochah, somewhere.  I will find you and use your very own weapons against you to properly welcome you to the 33rd Century.  It is still the age of the Homo Sapien, and it will take more than just one Tyrant Out of Time to drive us extinct.

Eye Of The Storm Weapon Review

This weapon was on sale for about 30 minutes in the Southern reign of the galaxy on the black market But it seem it have disappeared it may appear again but the stat may be changed, its still unknown to use now atm.

The Eye of the storm was originally designed out of the base of the Alpha version of this dual barrel tracking laser. The same as the Northwind Eradicator with a different paint Job.

The weapon itself is unique with two long barrels and a weak spot tracking system in the middle. The two long barrels of the weapon, Increased its speed from 100 to 104 and gives it a massif boost of 3X Damage of 10%. The tracking system in between the dual barrels is designed to find the weakest spot on the enemies mech and this can result in C-Kill.

The Eye of the storm was available on the black market for 1185 ferrite, 1040 Bioptics and 52 Niodes or it can be bought in Packs of 5 for 208 Niodes.

Northwind Eradicator Weapon Review

Northwind Eradicator is one of the strongest weapons that have been created by NWHL or so we believe. Northwind Eradicator was an experimental elite laser weapon designed with C-kill of 8 % and 3X Damage of 10%.

The weapon itself is unique with two long barrels and a weak spot tracking system in the middle. The two long barrels of the weapon, Increased its speed from 100 to 104 and gives it a massive boost of 3X Damage of 10%. The tracking system in between the dual barrels is designed to find the weakest spot on the enemies mech and this can result in C-Kill.

In truth the so called Alpha version of this dual barrel tracking laser was not designed by NWHL nor was it designed by CS since they also have the Alpha version of this weapon. Nobody knows where it came from except those two clans.

The Northwind Eradicator can be obtained through the black market for 1185 ferrite, 1040 Bioptics and 52 Niodes or it can be bought in Packs of 5 for 208 Niodes.

The weapon was on sale but it seems to have disappeared.
