Grizzly Engine Equipment Review

To start this will cost you 1,389 Ferrite, 1,068 Bioptics, and 56 Crystal. It is designed for tonnages 80-90 and features Speed +2, Auto Repair(1), Proj. Damage +4%, and Proj. Vulnerable 5%. The vulnerability can be offset with proper shielding of course, then you just have to play the shield game to offset whatever vulnerability you pick up with whatever shield you installed.

One of the first generation of BFM engines to see the light of day honestly it doesn't have much to offer in terms of speed. The auto repair is negligible at best due to so many mechs packing a crit kill ability, and the Proj. Damage bonus is rather weak. Overall I would say if you win one sell it for crystals, save up and buy a decent engine like the Heat Cycler which is just a base rate speed of +7 and no frills to worry about. In a pinch yeah sure go ahead and use the Grizzly but you will most likely see the need to upgrade it quickly due to the bare bones auto repair and the inherent vulnerability in the design. No one needs that +2 to speed THAT badly..lol
