This 60 ton Niode based mecha will cost you 2500 ferrite, 1500 bioptics and 120 Niodes. It isn't cheap by any means but whether purchasing one for you is a worthwhile investment or not depends on your playing style. Considered by some to be the Niode answer to the Namtar, the Buchis though carrying somewhat less armor than a Namtar also carries most of the crystal mech's strengths without sharing its kickback weakness. You can see why they have an appeal to Hegemony generals. Reliable, strong and favoring a load out of laser and projectile based weapons the Buchis is a mech that is straightforward about its purpose and that purpose is entirely based on dishing out pain.
In spite of having less armor than a Namtar you'll be surprised just how much punishment a Buchis can take in battles before falling. As you level your Buchis, you'll notice that the cockpit and chassis expansions are somewhat limited but that there are more engine and shield slots available which is where this mecha really shines. With the right engines and shielding on your Buchis, this lumbering dual cannon-armed behemoth becomes an impervious juggernaut; your opponent will be left wondering what the number was of the semi-truck that just ran him/her over.
It rolls out of the factory floor armed with the highly sought after and popular Galaxy Eye, two Neutralizers and a Laserizer, twin Green Deaths and a Particle Slate. Changing the weaker weapons for more powerful armaments shouldn't be a problem for the discriminating mecha enthusiast at this point in the game and a well armed and equipped Buchis will serve your squadron well for a long time.
