For players level 8 and up we have this Niode flame spitter. It'll cost you 390 Ferrite, 280 Bioptics, and 17 Niodes. Bulk buy is an option here with 5 for 68 Niodes. At the time of this writing there are only 71 left out of 300. It deals 36 straight damage, has a speed of 103, and the abilities of Burn at 3%, as well as 3X damage at 2%.

Lets face it the usual level 8 weapons are still in the single digits for straight damage of just starting to get into the double digits. This one hands out 36 Damage off the shelf, and even though the abilities are at a minimum, when they go off it'll be highly noticeable. So really there is no down side to this as a investment into your future of mecha glory.
