Alice Merrick is one of the long time pilot of the
AFF, now in Death’s Stalkers. She has been a thorn in the side of many higher
level pilots who have found her solid spec formations much tougher than her
level belies.
In the first battle of Clan Wars 3312, Death’s
Stalkers found themselves in a very close match with ITC which wasn’t decided
until the last fifteen or so minutes of the fight.
Alice, what was it about ITC that you found challenging?
Honestly a lot of people thought this would be an easier fight for you.
Alice: Well Ken, we were expecting a fairly close
fight as half their clan was of significantly higher level than us. No real
mismatches or out formation that I saw, and they had a very even spread in
levels across the board.
How does this bode for the rest of the Division? Where
do you see your biggest challenge at?
Alice: Of the upcoming opposition, I feel Thunderbirds
will be the most difficult match. I think our strength lies in the fact we are
a small close level group. Most of our opponents seem to have gone high low
spread, so we will give up a lot of wins to their top guys. I think we can
decimate their low level guys and pick up the points we need to triumph. Of
course this depends on how active we are which can never be locked down.
Great point, Alice. Who do you like in the top
divisions at the moment?
Alice: Well Ken, in the top divisions I expect all the
usual suspects will float to the top. Fusion, PhoenixStorm, and Zeon all have
the people with the track record of participation.
