Northern Gale Weapon Review By Pat Willis#224534

A new limited Ice weapon is out folks called the Northern Gale. It is for level 20 and up pilots, costing 490 Ferrite, 330 Bioptics, and 31 Niodes. Bulk buy is an option here with 5 for 124 Niodes. At the time of this writing there are 336 out of 350 left. It does 54 straight damage, has a speed of 100, and features the abilities of  Crit-kill of 3%, and Slow of (4).

The damage is a point higher than the crystal ice weapon White Knight which is available for level 62 and up. Speed is on par with the Winters Grasp weapon which is available for levels 101 and up. The abilities are a bit on the low end but still given the damage and speed on a low level ice weapon it is very workable. As usual mecha build stats,skill point allocation, and equipment load out will have an impact on your performance with this weapon. With all that said not a bad deal for the lower tiers really.
