We now have the beautiful yet butch looking new 95 ton missile biped. A real heavy salvo bad-ass. But where does the need for a rocket-sling stem from? Let's wind back the clock and see shall we?
In the beginning there were junior fighters faced with multiple enemies on their scopes, and the fighters said, "We need something that can field weapons capable of taking out more than one at a time. We could call this ability 'fork'. Still, what machine do we have that can support such technology"? Well, the void responded and threw up the SHOCKLITE! Weighing in at a tiny 20 tons, it was a pocket sized nail-bomb of a mech. Available to those of level 8, and costing a paltry 900 ferrite, 300 bioptics, and 20 crystals, it was the new combatant's ideal rocket-dog.
It boasts a delicious tendency towards the missile orientated warrior and their personal favorite arsenal, and as you level ever higher it openly flaunts it's capacity for 'splash' damage. With the speed plus modifiers it also acquires, it is the lightweight scrapper's waking heaven in the low tonnage categories.
This angry green little pin-cushion throws javelins better than the original Roman Legionary, and is more than open to cockpit suggestion for 'other arms' development.
Is she worth it? For entry level warriors: Definitely. For 20 ton events: A MUST! For longevity as a regular main squad mech: Don't get too friendly as this green goblin gets old VERY quickly.
