What can be said about a weapon perfectly suited to staggeringly increase the power output of one of the best mechs, ton for ton, in the galaxy? Equipped on an Inferno, this weapon simply blows the roof off of the competition. And I mean that quite literally. The intense heat from the plasma waves have the capability of melting the heavily armored ammo stores, bursting the mech like a balloon.
However, while the weapon has the capability of exceptional directed heat, it also can create widespread damage, often from bursting ammo stores on neighboring mechs, but also by turning the amplifiers to a lower frequency. This lower frequency allows for the waves to spread out wider and cause a portion of the damage to mechs nearby. Further testing has not been done to show the long term effect of this tweak to the weapon, but the short term effects are EXTRAORDINARILY VIOLENT.
