Firecracker A.I. Equipment Review by David McCallum #701548

Well, the fire based mechs are certainly getting some love this year. Maybe it's because that old witchy stinge Tory has had a bit of a fright what with Novum being overrun and she is finally lifting the lid on some of the goodies they've been holding onto.

Whatever the reason, we have another bit of tech on the market very squarely aimed at a particular market, namely the Notas, and its some cockpit gear called the Firecracker A.I.

In a word, love it...

Sorry, that's two words, but that's because I love it lots.

It may seem a bit old school, like a retrofitted Nux Raid. Nothing wrong with that, it was a solid targeting system that has served pilots well for generations as they have trained up.

But of course there have been additions geared specifically around fire mechs to provide the necessary valve controls to give both increased general damage and a chance of a super-heated shot if you catch it just right.

But the most excellent thing is that there are no inherent penalties or down side that is normally associated with high tonnage equipment. However at 65 Niodes, 1441 Bioptics and 1037 Ferrite it is by far the most expensive piece of cockpit gear on the market.

Yallan, Ignis and Jadoon can also get a boost from this... just don't go breaking the bank by replacing all your Haptic Interfaces with these pups as standard... tempting, but not quite worth the cost.
