Core Of The Dragon Equipment Review

This engine piece is for mechs 40-70 tons. It will cost you 330 Ferrite, 260 Bioptics, and 38 Niodes. It is a pretty straightforward engine packing  Speed of +8, Fire Damage of +13%, and Trample of 5%. Not seriously overpowered but not overpriced either and the lack of vulnerabilities is a bonus on any equipment, especially on an engine.

Perfect for specialty mechas like the Inferno, and the Cindron to add more damage to an already impressive build. Or stick them on a mech like Oggun for surprise attacks from a mech many consider to be associated with slug- throwers. The speed isn't anything super fast but it will help on such lighter ton machines as they are already fairly fast. The trample addition will be fairly noticeable if you stack, and use other equipment with that ability. Overall you really can't go wrong with this rather efficient piece of engine equipment.
