Today we're looking at another niode cockpit equipment piece for 95-100 ton mechas. This piece gives you some fair stats to go with it making it overall a good buy for your resources.
Given that most other cockpit equipment pieces in this tonnage range go from 4 to 10 in the Precision range this piece sits comfortably in the middle of the road at a solid 6.
Also unless I'm going blind I see no other cockpit equipment pieces listed currently in the shop in that tonnage range packing Projectile damage bonuses.
On top of that this handy dandy module allows for both Fire and Ice damage boosts, so it can work just as well on a Boreas as it can on a Notos, Glaccus, or even the Corsair. Also the Ice damage on this piece is 1% higher than the E Panel, which as we all know is one solid cockpit piece.
Its Fire damage boost surpasses the crystal based ArC Chip which is only at +3%. Oh yes, and notice no vulnerabilities to be found? Is it any wonder why I am a fan of this particular tech?
So we have a cockpit module that grants Projectile damage boosts (possibly the only one thus far in its weight class), and it does a better job of Fire and Ice damage than others in its class. So the basic conclusion is you really can't go wrong here. The Cockpit piece is beneficial for multiple mecha types with two other weapons kept in mind to make it more attractive to the buying public. Overall it seems to be a winning piece. If you absolutely have to crank that precision up there is always the option of using this with the E Panel, Smart Gelpack, or Scout Drones just to see how your stats wind up.
