As most of you know not that long ago I spoke with our own Brainchef De Cuisine AKA Nick Shapiro on the future of the game. He seemed rather keen to hear what kind of feedback we could generate on the whole tech vs aliens issue in the game. If you've been reading this site for any length of time you know I'm fully behind expanding and fleshing out the game to include more alien races, mecha, as well as tech.The original question that was polled was - Which of the following directions would you like to see Mecha Galaxy go in?
The original three choices for answers and their votes are below.
1. Concentrate on more tech and less aliens - 4 votes.
2. Add more aliens and concentrate on those as tech is a given. - 2 votes.
3. Add both tech and more aliens to counter balance each other and flesh out the game - 34 votes.
The write in answers from the rest of the MG community which were never a part of the original poll.
1. Have new mecha come bursting out of Josh Chandler's chest - 19 votes.
2.Bella Tin Gray swimsuit issue - 4 votes.
3. Ability to craft equipment by combining multiple pieces -4 votes.
4. Dog pile raids on the 200+ level players - 3 votes.
5. I don't care just give me more mechas to blow stuff up with - 3 votes.
6. More depth to the Craftsmen and their tech - 2 votes.
So at least we get serious feedback for a change, well more or less anyways, and it looks like I am not the only one hoping for some serious opening up of the game. Now we just have to make sure whatever is decided on and gone with is shared to both networks, and not maintained in a strangle hold by one that just gets released every now and again leaving folks to go...huh, since when?
