So diving right in at level 43 we have the crystal fire weapon of the Magmolator. It deals 40 straight damage, has a speed of 101, and has the ability of Splash at 5%, and Kickback at 20% with odds of 20% damage.
Radiator beats out the damage by 4, increases speed by 1, and gets rid of that pesky kickback all together while substituting a Splash effect for a Burn effect at 1% less. Given the Radiator comes sans kick back that is enough alone to say this is the better weapon. Anything that blows up in your face is bad, and most seasoned pilots avoid kickback if at all possible.
Then at level 53 we run into the Mag Chain crystal fire weapon. A very simple, straightforward weapon it does 47 straight damage, has a speed of 101, and a Burn ability at 6%.
So at the higher levels the damage is better by 3 points, the speed is less by 1 point, and it has 2% more Burn ability. So the Radiator is still a contender even when compared with its higher level cousin. It is faster for certain, damage is less overall, but you're still hitting hard, and still having a decent weapon ability to it.
Final call on this weapon - Appropriately placed, better than the weapon beneath it for sure, and still a contender to it's higher level cousin. All in all a solid weapon and one that should be considered by pilots of such levels looking to torch something.
