This  niode ice weapon comes equipped as standard weapon load out for the Boreas mecha. The Boreas actually has two equipped. The speed is pretty standard fare for an ice weapon. Seeing as many ice weapons are in the high 90's for a speed rating the 100 is a welcome sight to see. But not the fastest given other weapon classes like the Projectile, and Laser selections often have weapons above the 100 mark.

The built in abilities are pretty slick especially given the 50% freeze. Factor in that the Boreas doesn't have a built in Freeze capability and this weapon provides a much needed boost to its mecha. On the other hand a highly leveled Boreas mecha is capable of +100% ice damage just on mecha build bonuses alone and suddenly this becomes a very nasty weapon indeed. The slow is just there to add a little fun to the mix. Couple it with the right equipment and you could make a nice quick mecha get stuck in the slushy mud. Overall a solid weapon.
