The Meal By Germán Jaramillo # 685605
The corporal Ikes who was an excellent shooter with dual terrific Kanabos mounted on his optimized Bishop was as well a fabulous chef.
I will never forget the barbecue he made with that fabulous gigantic beast we hunted in Rizpah, which oddly enough became entangled with the Commander’s Mech not once, not twice, but seven times in a day.
The boys laughed with jokes such as the beast had fallen in love with the commander and of course, they dared other worse jokes with different sexual degrees.
When the jokes exceeded the border line between humor and insubordination, the Chief Master Sergeant Görtz, former instructor of AWAC, called to order the rebel with unbeatable efficiency...
- One more joke about the sexuality of the commander, and I will serve as dish the cook of the joker cut into thin roasted slices and stuff them in his mouth… Now, girls, let see if you are as bold as you seem.
The good Chief Master Sergeant Görtz, I doubt he ever had a mother, much less a grandmother.
And there were all our thirty mechs stationed in a wide circle with half a dozen sentry drones watching from the air and keeping a safety perimeter as a satellite carefully scrutinizing our grid, while Ikes worked his magic.
Do not ask me how, but Ikes had the skills to turn any hardly eatable thing into a flavored delicacy...
The fact is that the beast, a giant lizard, was really large, and required that Corporal Andy cut it into slices with a zombie chain. Then Ikes, piloting an Inferno, did the honors turning the giant into a barbecue and close enough to burn the entire jungle, which, moreover, would not have been a great misfortune from the point of view of the guys. But the commander wanted discretion, not a traceable caloric signal light from the skies.
Mendoza, what did you say this beast’s name was?
Snavurm, he replied, while continued chewing the delicious meat.
After finishing dinner, we stored the remaining Snavurm in pressurized food containers, so that super tasty meat couldn’t get corrupted in the tropical climate. By the looks of my comrades, I knew that would give us a week long feast to empty the last of the containers... and by all the devils, we would be able, despite the abundance of stored meat.
Many agreed that the Snavurm had a certain resemblance to the famous Cloned Galaxy Chicken Fried... but only juicier.

Snavrum By Stuart Myshrall#422352
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in snavurm
Suddenly, I'm not half the mecha I used to be
There's a snavurm hanging over me.
Oh, snavurm came suddenly
Why snavurm had to go I don't know snavurm wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for snavurm
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in snavurm
Why snavurm had to go I don't know snavurm wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for snavurm
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in snavurm

Niode Gate Mapping VI By Marrianne Stewig #687261
Dorien was thinking to himself that he should have gone back down the steps of the tower and hook up with his men and their mech's that were guarding the base of the steps. He realized that his men were not prepared for such an ordeal as a long extended fight and that now under the circumstances he was going to have to take his battered team back down the steps of the tower to get repairs done.
He thought he would ask the men what they wanted to do. He still had a bit of ringing in his ears from the nanites and a kind of buzzing vibration that encompassed his whole body. Other than that he felt perfectly fine. In fact he seemed to be thinking more clearly than he ever had before. Dorien went to Hector first because he was the bravest. Do you think we ought to investigate this further or turn back now and go for repairs? Well boss, said Hector picking up a niode spanner and carefully latching on to a niode to be realigned, our supplies are dwindling rather badly, but I suppose there is still a little fight left in us. If we can get these temporary repairs done will be in reasonably good shape.
Canned Heat chimed in but was not as optimistic, what are you talking about Hector look at this gash in my armor plating, one more hit like the last one and it will opened me up like a can of sardines. My shields are glitching and two of them are off-line altogether. Not to mention all the loose connections in my neural net. Those harmonic disruptors have made quite a mess of things!
Dr. No was listening but busy with repairs of his own on his foot actuator. Sparks added that more than half of his weapon systems were down and that repairs and alignment would be a few hours away...
At best.
Flash Frozen seem to be the only one unaffected by the attack but was badly shaken up and running diagnostic checks on his AI. How's the supplies Dorien questioned ? If you mean our ammunition, Hector injected we have a small supply but if the fight goes on longer than the last one, we will be down to chucking potatoes at the enemy. If on the other hand, you mean our food supplies he continued, we have about a day or two tops, and that is if we ration it.
Okay Dorien exclaimed, you men go on with your repairs and I'll take all this under advisement and let you know my answer later. Keep me informed and let me know when the repairs are done. I'm going to find a clear space on the other side of the room and do some repairs of my own. It seems that my A.I. has been acting a little funny lately and humming some sort of tune. I'm going to try to get to the bottom of that and see what other damage there is.
Dorien climbed once again into his Torrent and closed the hatch behind him. Addressing the Voider 550 he asked who wrote the tune that you were humming just a short time ago? What is the name? And who is it by?
The Voider 550 was silent for a short moment and then said The Who.... No, interrupted Dorien I said who is it by? The Who said the Voider 550 sounding more annoyed than ever. Are your circuits fried? I said who wrote that tune! The Who, said the A.I. very slowly and then proceeded to tell him that they were a musical rock group that were popular on earth in the 60s and 70s. Oh...... said Dorien catching a clue, and what was the name of the song? We Don't Get Fooled Again came the reply from the A.I. Where did it come from? Ask Dorien.
Voider 550 continued, apparently it was downloaded about the same time as the nanites that overtook this Mech, at least that's what the time index on the entry indicates. Do you think it is probable that it is some kind of a clue about our metal Cylindrical benefactor?
98% positive came the reply from the A.I. There is however another entry in the data banks about a fictional science fiction character named Dr. Who but I need a little more time to scan all the TV episodes for more clues. It seems that it ran for several seasons and the actual doctor kept changing.
See if you can pull up the lyrics to that tune, it may give us some additional clue's. Oh.....and run a self-diagnostic on yourself. Sir, I've already run the self diagnostic on myself and I assure you I'm perfectly fine. However, if you insist, I will run another one, perhaps the results will be more to your liking this time the AI said with a sneer.
Dorien was alarmed by the AI's tone but figured that under the circumstances it was probably justified. So he decided to check the vid screen on his wrist pad to see how the repairs were coming along. One by one they all reported on the repair progress, all that is except for Flash Frozen who was busy pacing back and forth like a duck in the shooting gallery.
Hey! Flash! Dorien screamed your digging a trench in the floor. Flash frozen was startled by Dorien's voice, but stopped and he started to chuckle. Guess I'm a little worried about what your decision might be he said shamefully. Looking intently at the trench he exclaimed, man that's going to leave a mark!
Relax son, I've decided to head home, I think we've done all the damage we can do here for now and it's time to move on. I assembled you guys to protect me while I was mapping the Niode gates but it seems that this unusual excursion has gotten way out of hand. I'm going to turn all this data over to the scientist's that are on Novum just as soon as we get back home. Let's see if they can make sense out of all this. Now let's go tell the good news to the others said Dorien as he slapped the back of Flash Frozen.
Upon telling the others Dorien asked the men if their temporary repairs were good enough to last until they reached the base of the steps, there they could be totally repaired with the help and supplies of the rest of their team.
One by one the battered and war-torn crew packed up their supplies and gear and marched for the steps with Dr. No limping along for it seemed that his foot actuator was beyond repair at the moment. Clanking and clattering down the winding steps of the tower the crew seem to be as silent as they were when the ascended and left to their thoughts. No doubt the events over the last few days has been exceedingly stressful and alarming and is not without a good many questions.
Dorien was having thoughts of his own and wondering to himself whether he would be making a return trip to this strange tower portal made by Kellek and Droh ….I mean a time machine and a time portal together in one and Kallek and Droh together in the same place and working in conjunction with each other? The thought of it all made shivers run up and down his spine and the implications of all that could be done on all timelines and in all places was just as mind blowing as it gets.
Dorien was sure that he hadn't heard the last of this tower's power and it very well could explain some of the strange movements of Kellek and Droh In the future.
Upon reuniting with his team at the base of the steps Dorien and his team was relieved and glad to be going home at last.

Corrugated Joints Equipment Review by David McCallum #701548
Well, since this piece of gear came onto the market, crystal based pilots now have a choice of 4 chassis pieces for their 95 ton mechs and 2 choices for their 100 ton bad boys... or girls, I can never work out gender on mechs (and its probably best if they keep it behind closed doors anyway).
As a bonus, its also the cheapest chassis piece in this range, coming in at 49 Crystal, 605 Bioptics and 1688 Ferrite. For that you get a Dodge characteristic of 6 which is middle of the road for a 95 ton crystal piece but best for 100 ton. Trample shielding of 30% and Fork shielding of 50% is useful and certainly fits in with the current emphasis on production of missile mechs. And vulnerabilities are surprisingly low, with only a 3% on lasers.
That laser vulnerability is a bit of a surprise as you would expect the multi faceted angles to be able to reflect lasers adequately and that it would be more vulnerable to things like Ice. Maybe its the rubber sealing compound they are using.
All in all though, not a bad piece of kit for what it is and it at least adds some variety for the largest production mechs without breaking the bank.

Reminiscences by David McCallum #701548
Well, Mecha Galaxy turned 3 this month and the party, war and raid are over. There is time to take stock and see where this journey has taken me.
No I haven't been playing for the whole time, it will be a little over a year and half. How has the game changed and how have I changed as a player?
I can still recall some of my stupid rookie mistakes.
It threw me that there was a pilot skill and my Warhorse had my name on it. For the longest time, I kept that Warhorse in the line, long after it was past it's use by date because there was the fear that my pilot skill applied only to that mech and If I removed it, the bonus would be lost. And of course despite endless net searches, I couldn't definitively find out if I was right or wrong. With hindsight, how easy would it be for a line of text saying that the pilot bonus applied to every mech you own...
Because they had such good and vocal spokespeople, I thought that the Bunnies and Smurfs must be like the top of the most totally Elite players...
How many niodes or prizes did I miss out on because I thought that the missions were a progressive story-line, not realizing that you could go back and redo them time and again? I know I had got up to Rizpah, because i got the joke story about pilots trying to give up on Snavuurm as written by John T. Mainer. How could they go back for more Snavuurm? DOH!
Speaking of the missions, the first time I did Cogwerk port, I completely panicked after misreading the timer and thought I had 24 minutes instead of 24 hours... and burned through a lot of niodes trying to repair and get my energy back... and I recall that first failure because I couldn't keep up the needed kill rate and even after a short nights sleep to try and get back in game, the timer ran out.
I remember my disappointment when I realized that because of time zones, I would never be that competitive in most of the KotM events.
I remember the time I first attacked a true pay player and ran into a wall of Axebots. Since I had been looking for a free play game (being unemployed at the time), I got massively disheartened at the disparity and almost left the game. I certainly didn't log in for a good week and missed my first clan war. If I hadn't shown up and been allowed to participate in the raid where I won a shiny Cindron, I'm not sure I would have stayed.
I remember drooling over the big mechs (before we had BFMs) that were so far in the future for me... this was back at a time when I was in my first actual clan war and the leader told us not to attack a certain player... unless we could withstand the firepower of his massed ranks of Fides...
I remember winning my first Antithesis and wondering why it kept blowing itself up... here's a hint, lack of pilot skill points does that...
I remember being so nervous about making a mistake, I didn't enter circuit fights. Come to think of it, I still haven't entered a wave challenge....
I remember my first Faction War, and the Exiles introducing us to Facebook Chat as a means of communicating.
And I certainly remember the friends I've made since then...
I can't remember the first time I became aware of Nick and the dev team, but I know I was impressed to find that unlike a lot of other game "owners", he actually interacts with his player base and is on to issues far faster than any software user (who has reasonable knowledge of the industry) has the right to expect.
And i certainly remember being a part of the drunken exchange (at least from Nick's perspective) where he and the community came up with the Raw Alcohol Combustion Engine (R. A. C. E.) and Midori's boots...
Some things haven't changed. Deborah was still the top of the kill board back then... except the one time when I knocked her off the perch... I think I still have that screen shot somewhere. Of course now I'm high enough level to give her some reasonable xp, I have the dubious honour of being on her daily stroll where she kicks over all our toys...
I remember reading pilot interviews where the elite gushed over their Ogguns, Ammonites and Dilophus. And its a testament to those mechs that mid level players still do....
I remember the first time my clan family featured in a story that I didn't write, but I don't remember at what stage we started appearing on peoples lists of 'clans we don't want to face this war'... and I remember being shocked when I realized we were.
I remember it being a heck of a ride, here's to much more of it and many more memories.

New Mecha Rleased By Pat Willis#224534
Well clan wars are done yet again, until next month anyways. Raids are in the process of being wrapped up if they haven't been finished already, and over the weekend a new mecha was released. It is a 100 ton mecha called the Typhoon. It is a crystal based mecha costing 18,000 Ferrite, 13,000 Bioptics, and a whooping 410 Crystal. Its major weapons appear to be missile based, and it looks like a cross between a Torrent, and a Ballista, with a Rooks massive firing system.
It is also a nice bright red and yellow in color so your opponent can be sure to see it clearly on the battle field to take it apart. Sorry but that is just how I see it at least until we get equipment for the 100 ton machines, that doesn't effect speed, give it a vulnerability or whatever backwards crap the factories decide to spit out. This mecha has potential but much like its Jurassic mecha cousin in the same tonnage category it will be pretty useless without proper equipment that doesn't hinder it more than help it.

Into the darkness, the barrack explodes in a cacophony produced by the emergency sirens and the red alert lights… The doors opens violently letting to enter to our most hated but also respected Instructor, the Chief Master Sergeant Victor Görtz.
(Instructor): - C’mmon monkeys! Test training time! The last one behind will clean the gardens for the whole month! (Gardens… aka the barrack bathrooms)
Everyone jump out of the bed to run to the Hangar bay, no matter if they wear the pilot outfit or if were naked. In the Hangar, our beloved training mechas: shiny Red Ant Class, the most basic and lighter of the Battle Mech are awaiting us, as every day.
And as every day, we have to listen to the words of our smart ass Instructor and follow his orders as if he was both, Mother and Father at once, and as if there wasn’t a tomorrow.
“There is no other God than my instructor, no other law than his voice and no other love than my Mech!” Is our common battle motto.
(Instructor): - Come on crying rabbits. Your mommies are looking how you pee on your pants!
After the collection of the ten favorite quotes of our Instructor. I manage to be among the first pilots seating in their cockpits and becoming establishing control with their mechs.
We have been preparing to become Squad officers for so long and I dare say we are ready to do it, but our Instructor thinks too much is never enough, and keep smashing our minds and bodies every hour, every day, every week during these hard two years…
At least a dozen of younger pilots gave up, leaving surround by the intensive training. Too much pain for them:
“Only those with a weak spirit give up before fight the thousand battles that led the First Division Clans to the Glory”
I rolled my eyes to the sky while I connected the plug in my synaptic rig… “When will the Chief change a single letter of any of his quotes?” I remember I thought… Those he uses are like a Bible for us and I was then afraid I would be never allowed to remove them from my mind, no matter how much time passed away.
But the synaptic harmonization gets done… My Mech become nothing else but an extension of my own senses and capabilities, allowed to turn my slightest movements into destructive maneuvers… Every time I follow those steps I feel as a God of War for the whole time I am piloting my mech (despite be controlling just a Red Ant)… or a Demigod, as our God is the Instructor.
So here we are:
We chill by the intercom channel: Hooray Monkeys of Görtz! Hail Death bringers!
And we jump outside to the ground.
I noticed something odd in the Red Ant assigned to me, that I call Hades. So I asked to the AI talking interface.
(Hades’ AI): - Bzzz… Good morning Cadet First Class Jaramillo.
- Morning Hades, please, could you make a routine scan of your systems and tell me if something is wrong?
(Hades’ AI): - Bzz… Scan on process.
I nod in silence, as I feel always odd after talk with the AI… I always found annoy to talk with any artificial intelligence, makes me feel a bit ridiculous, as talking with an imaginary friend.. You know..
Not far away from our Head Quarter and Instruction Camp, there is a gateway… One of those ancient Forerunners devices, spread all along the known galaxy and far away.
Something new: the Sergeant is leading us to the gateway, the same that we always avoided following his strict orders.
The first one who disobeyed him, got his hands shattered after the exhaustive and systematic punishment received from the own Chief Instructor, the dude couldn’t maneuver rightly the Mech actuators after that, even while his physics got totally healed… a psychosomatic harass said the medic bot… Rejected from Service with Dishonor)
After that, nobody dared to disobey the smallest of our Instructor orders.
So as our mechs were previously reprogrammed with the Niode beacon signal of a certain gateway destination, the entire Squad was allowed to cross together into an immediate travel across a painful distance. Our destination? No clue… We arrived into a devastated insertion point with signals of past combats…
(Instructor): - M ’okay monkeys, we are going to perform a hard test on your abilities as pilots. The Commandant believes you are ready for an endurance test… I believe he is quite wrong placing his confidence on you, girls, but here we go!
“A test… so we were approaching to our graduation, at last!” I became excited.
(Hades AI): - Test completed and reporting: Synaptic connection 99.998% Not detected unharmonization; Artificial Intelligence algorithmic, analytic and logic systems 100% functional; Bioptical systems 100% functional; Energy Reactor 100% functional; Mechanical systems 100% functional; Battle systems 100 % functional; New weapon systems detected and loaded, 100% functional…
“New weapons”? Ah yes, the Chieff mentioned it, probably we were carrying some real battle laser for the test…
(Hades AI): -… Structural Integrity 100% functional; Cockpit Systems 100% functional; Pilot Vitals 76% functional… Pilot First Class Jaramillo; You have an excessive alcoholic tax in your blood, Cholesterol at dangerous limit…
- All right Hades, enough, end your report.
(Hades AI): - As you wish, Pilot First Cla… I turned off the talking mode of Hades for the next ten minutes as I really hate when Hades place me in evidence when I take some Alpha-Centauri Beer and my favorite Frankfurt in my breakfast…
(Instructor): - Monkeys! Today you have equipped real lasers in your training Red Ants as some other devices you don’t need to care controlling. So keep not burning the ass of any of your fellows, dudettes! Roger?
Roger!!! All we answered at once by the intercom. (“So that’s why I felt something different”, I though… I should take more attention to my mech… Now I was curious about the kind of lasers we had equipped and was close to turn back the AI talking mode to ask for a technical weaponry report).
(Instructor): - M ‘okay, switch your IC Channel to 2388.92 Frequency Delta-Zulu… We don’t want dark ears listening today.
I frowned, as that channel was one of the many restricted to use in War Action, but of course, followed orders as the other thirty cadets.
(Instructor): - Eagle formation, 200 meters of interval, Corporals, take control on your battle lines and go to tactical channel to receive more instructions.
This was absolutely new… The gateway, real ammo… War Channel… High Security… Dammit, could it be possible that we were entering in real action! The thought made my body generate a good infusion of adrenaline.
(Instructor): - Copy this: We are entering into a Tenth Tonnage Formation, so follow the trained sequence and keep a low profile for all your girls at each file.
(All pilots): - Copied Sir!
(Instructor): - Activate shields, lasers and countermeasures… Fire in Ten…Nine… Eight…
“Wait! What? We went going to just start fight in seconds! I couldn’t believe it, and I had no time even to become afraid for my own safety or anything else… The excitation was so much…was everything, and I tried to control my breath and focus on the pure orders” Mechanically I transmitted by the line channel to my partners of file the given orders, adding a few of my own to remind everyone the trained pattern for a Tenth Tons array. I could hear some exclamation of surprise as they understood as well what was going on.
(Instructor): - Seven…
I spotted in the horizon the front line of the enemy, small in the far distance yet, but getting closer as both: the enemy and us kept moving forward.
Six… The enemy was keeping a similar formation, with Red Ants but with something odd that I couldn’t identify with the distance, so I activated the telemetric visors and brought a zoom on their front line…
Five… Crap, they had Red Ants modified… Their weaponry was not simple at all… Those huge laser weapons they handled…
Four… I sent a scan of the enemy weaponry with a fast neural order to the aboard AI.
Three… The voice of the Chief experienced a slight tremble of emotion, as I believed he was long time away of real combat, one of the many reasons why he hated us.
Two… Oh my God… it’s real… we are going to…
(Instructor): - Get ready monkeys, we are going to kick their arses! One! Open FIRE!!! The final order, the order we were awaiting all the years we stood in the AWAC (Advanced War Academy)… Finally!
Six anxious pilots freed the Firelock button and pressed it at once, and a first salve of lasers was shot on the enemy files at the same time as they opened fire on us. The laser my fellows were using… Oh my God, what the hell were they using? The scarlet blasts… As the enemy, their lasers fell as a real hell among my fellows!
(Hades AI): Bzzz… Reporting Enemy Weaponry Scan: The target hostile unit is carrying four Heavy Tactical Lasers Class Galaxy Eye and four Heavy Battle Lasers Class Duboce. Advantage of the enemy weapons over our instruction weaponry systems: 260 %... Recalculating advantage with our new weapon systems…
F*** it! The enemy weaponry was really superior… So we could only rely on speed to expect survive the imminent carnage! The first strike was unlucky for our side, as our entire front line reacted slowly enough as to allow the enemy to take them down. And as expected, each hit of the enemy shot down each one of our brothers…
My line was next…
(Hades AI): Bzzz… Deploying Micro Block defenses…
What? I got surprised by the AI announcement… From since I had equipped the Cocwerk Micro Block system? Oh crap, who cares? That mean I may keep a high enough speed… and speed was my only hope as we needed to shot down the enemy before their devastating lasers could caught us.
(Hades AI): Bzzz… Load of the beam capacitors for the Black Widows completed. Recalculating weaponry advantage… Advantage of our tactical weapons over the enemy weaponry systems: 174 %
Suddenly, my mouth was quite opened by the surprise… What the…?
(Hades AI): Bzzz… Acquiring targets… At same time, the Chief’s voice could be heard by the closed channel of the intercom: Line leaders, don’t fall asleep as the monkeys on the front line… Get ready!
I just recovered control and with flash reflex, maneuvered to avoid the shot of the mech I was now facing, while the Hades made the aiming calculations.
Bzzzzz… target Acquired… were the laconic words of Hades.
FIRE! With a roar, the lasers released their lethal charge in four red blasts flying with lightning speed towards our enemy.
A rain of scarlet perfect shots that got no contest from their damaged front line.
In their side, another six Ants advanced forward, flanking their fallen companions lying in the ground as smoking scratched remnants.
FIRE! (Before their second line had time to react, our demonic Black Widows released a second shot). Above the fallen, the second file dropped with their cockpits pierced and their pilots vaporized or barely wounded.
FIRE!!! (This time, the third line had almost no time to deploy, and just kissed the ground in a surreal silence where all was dyed in a flashy scarlet light.
FIRE!!! FIRE!!! FIRE!!!!
War has no space for piety when one fights for his life to best the enemy mech he has in front… But this was carnage as I could never realize in our simulated battles.
And all was done. I realized my cardiac pulse going faster even than our trampling Red Ants, charging against the remains of their army to abort any try of counterattack.
(Instructor): - Sixth and Seventh lines, scout the area and report!
The voice of the Sergeant was exultant, the bastard was really on his sausage!
Then I noticed what may be a critical impact in the cabinet, just above my helmet… By a moment I felt afraid I could have received any serious damage, but then, I found myself with no wounds… And for my surprise, the Mech was getting back the integrity of its structure, as the Nanobots of the fresh and new installed defensive systems were doing their work.
I explored carefully the battlefield… Some of us, were attending our fallen companions, but those remnant not attended yet, were quite away of any medical care as soon our AIs reported and we confirmed by visual check.
We captured eleven enemy Ants, possibility usable after the proper reparations, and took prisoners to six enemy pilots… The whole remnant warriors were half disintegrated corpses, some of them even entirely vaporized by our ionic blasts. I may confirm the name Black Widow was very appropriated for our new weapons…
My thoughts went with my fallen fellows… From the six of those who felt down from our front line, only two survived… but Yuri, Williams, Mendoza and Brian where not anymore with us…
“Permission to open private channel, Chief Master Sergeant”
(Instructor, by private channel): Spit it, warrior.
- Why we came here without knowledge of what we could face? Four of us are dead now! I believe they may like to know where we were coming to”
The voice of the Instructor came cold as a Boreas shot through the intercom: You have been trained along two years of hard work for this, to kill or be killed… What do you expected, Pilot? Maybe a party with dancing girls, drinks and snarvum pizza?.
I could only listen and agree ashamed.
Dunno why came then into my mind the words of an ancient poet that I heard somewhere…
“Only the dead pilots can witness the end of our endless War.”
(Instructor, back to the general Intercom channel):
- M ’okay, I am not any longer before monkeys, but Knights… You may want to know you successfully defeated a specialist Squad during a Clan War battle… So welcome to the Elite Fighters of the galaxy. I am proud to officially announce your graduation with honors, Sires.
Intercom Channel was quiet, as all we got stunned by the news.
(Instructor): - So never forget your fallen fellows and fight always with bravery and skill so they may witness you proud from the hell!
Nec spec, nec metu! (Without hope or fear)
(Intercom channel): Nec spec, nec metu! Repeated every of us, celebrating our victory.
I let my eyes look for long the Crimson storm released over that battlefield… A scarlet light was blinking in my console… There, the Hades’ AI camera was looking at me…
“We conquered the enemy with kill machines… But are the machines that kill us… Who will kill the machines if they rose some day against us?”

Random Thoughts by David McCallum #701548
How many of you would get into your car and look at this....
and wonder if it gives you 1% or 2% crit kill?
And how many of you would make a mental list of people to try it out on?

Pilot interview with Pistop # 731276
GG: I’m back in the barracks of my first clan, Heroes II. A lot of nostalgia here, the decor hasn't changed and it certainly smells like they haven't managed to get rid of the smell of old socks either.
The faces are all different of course and one there's one in particular I'm here to see, if I can find him amongst the wreckage associated with Gold Medal winning celebrations. I'm back here to talk to Pitstop, the new C.O. of my old crew.
First off, congratulations on a long awaited second gold for the clan. In fact its been over a year since H2 won the very first gold our clan family ever got. How did your guys find it, and what's the mood like?
PS: Well, this iteration of H2 has been together for awhile now and we've all felt like we've been pretty competitive in each war we've fought. Maybe it's a culmination of a lot of hard work...maybe we had all the stars align just right for us to make a deep run and come away with the Gold this war...maybe a bit of both. Whatever the case may be, I can't be more proud of what we've been able to accomplish this war.
GG: Fair Call. I’ll come back with a few more questions on the war in a second, but first off let’s get some background. And let's deal with the elephant in the room first. You got the name Pitstop after you took a head shot early in your career and they had to regrow the brain tissue at one of the field hospitals. And to get you back in the cockpit quickly they slapped a memory engram backup over the top to restore the memory centres... but the tapes were mixed up. Is that right?
PS: Um... Mixed up.. sure.. if that's what they're saying....
GG: And they never told you who the actual donor pilot was... correct?
PS: Oh no... I'm aware of who it was. You could say he's acted like a father to me ever since, helping me with my recovery and giving me advice on how to best outfit my mechs. I was pretty young when it happened and you'd be surprised, headaches aside, how that procedure accelerated my skills when it comes to mecha piloting and squad tactics.
GG: Heh - the pair of you kept that quiet, the medics still think you are unaware. So how does it feel after having an Artificial Limbic Lobe Transfusion? And are there any other differences that the rest of us wouldn't strictly know about?
PS: I think with the ALLT procedure, there are some traits of the donor that can come through if the process isn't handled properly. Stray memories that are fuzzy and feel real, yet I know I've never been to that place. I think I see or have done that thing I "remember" doing. I'm told that in the best of circumstances, such a procedure is transparent to the patient and there are no adverse side affects.
My case, however, combined with the head trauma, tends to leave me with the aforementioned headaches and I've been told I tend to have bouts of manic focus on things to the point of not sleeping or eating for days.
GG: Now when the C.O. slot opened up here, you were offered it on the basis of your coolness under fire when you had to take command in the last moments of a very tough fight. And to be honest, you've certainly had more than your fair share of battles that have gone to the wire. How do your guys cope with that as a group?
PS: alcohol...lots and lots of alcohol....No seriously, I think we have our moments where we're about to panic and try a last minute run against an opponent we're not 100% sure we can beat, but those highs are all part of the experience. I'd rather have the thrill of a close match, win or lose, than be on the receiving end of a steamrolling. Even if we're the ones doing the rolling, it doesn't hold the same excitement.
GG: With that many close calls, are the team looking at you as if you are a jinx, or is it just part of the trials of being a crystal clan trying to remain competitive?
PS: If they think I'm a jinx they certainly aren't saying it to my face..! I think it's a showing of just how tight a lot of these divisions break down. If you look at our opponents this war, each round could have gone the other way and might have easily done so in past wars. TOTAL ANARCHY, Mobile Infantry, Raging Vengeance... all tough clans and my hat's off to each and every member of those clans for a great war. Give everyone a month, let us step out onto the field again and just as likely it could be one of them or another in our Division taking the Gold. Of course that doesn't mean we'll just hand it over without a fight.
GG: And how do your fingernails cope with it all? Hairline not receding prematurely?
PS: What's hair?! Kind of went bye bye after the head trauma...!
GG: My apologies, I should have recognised the Trump model 3000 you have there. Now one of the things we are having a push on here at Galaxy Gathering at present is a focus on new pilots, and as an up and comer yourself you are an ideal person to get some advice from. As a medium term goal for young pilots, which mechs should they look at bulking up on and why?
PS:I follow the advice of those before me when I say the Ammonite. Wide range of equipment available for them. You can tweak the weapons to match just about any fighting style that suits you. Plus being crystal based pretty easy to get a hold of. Point, edge sniper, rear backstop, just a solid mech all around.
GG: And do you have any personal favourites in your own line up?
PS:Oh I do. Pulled myself a nice Regis off the fields the last Drake war that does a fair bit of damage to the opposition who aren't expecting to find such a mech in such a low leveled squad.
GG: Any in particular that you are hoping will be available to snaffle in the upcoming raid?
PS: I don't know... The Regis could always use a twin.... <laughs>
GG: Change of pace with some random questions, pilots need to think on their feet sometimes. So hypothetical tactical appraisal, which would win a fight between a badger and a baboon?
PS: Depends. How heavily armed is the badger?
GG: No weapons... straight fight,... choose quickly!
PS: Badger then. Can't take an animal seriously if you automatically put 'red-assed' in its name when you think of it...
GG: And bearing in mind I know who your memory engram donor is, what is your stance in the debate on the strategic deployment of raccoon's?
PS: Masked bandits always grab the good stuff.
GG: Do you have a favourite snack food that you take in the cockpit while you are fighting?
PS: You have time to eat in a fight?! huh....you must be doing something wrong then.....
GG: It comes with experience young man... some of us are built for comfort, not speed.. We should probably leave the randomness there for the time being. I guess since we are here we should talk a bit more about the recent war. Looking over your results, were there any surprises that stand out? Clans you fought against being tougher or easier than you maybe would have been expecting?
PS: A few surprises, yes. Some scores turned out differently than I imagined they would, and that's not meant as a knock against any of our opponents. They all fought us fair and came to play. I also saw some things that we can take and learn from our own performance to make us stronger for next time.
GG: When you take into account the bonus mech and the gold payout, are your guys happy with the haul?
PS: I'm really happy with the increased payout. Hopefully it made others step up their game a bit and try that much harder to get the better prizes. Personally I don't have the resources some do so every little bit extra for me goes a long way. Hopefully they'll continue to offer the bigger prize packs in the future.
GG: And both as a player and clan leader, are there any suggestions you could give to the devs in regard tweaking the format to make clan wars, or any other event, even better?
PS: I know a lot gets said about how this or that Clan manipulates the system in order to give themselves an advantage and avoid the bigger divisions. Partly I wish there were a different way to determine divisions, but unless you implement some sort of player rating that isn't just their level I don't think you'll see much change. One thing I really want to see though; an Off button for my Battle Log. Yes I know so and so at level 150 can beat the snot out of my squad, but do i have to have that be the first thing I see when I log in each day??
GG: We should probably look at wrapping up now, so I’ll hit you with one final question. Raid wish list, if there was one single piece of gear (not a mech) you are hoping for on the prize list, what would it be and why?
PS: A big red button that I can press and make my enemies disappear. Yep. I need a big 'I Win!' button, One shot, of course. Otherwise what's the fun in playing??
GG: Zeon have it patented already, only they labelled the button "call for Don Fugate"...
Anyway, thanks very much for your time young man, and from the H2 veterans who have gone before, we salute you and can consider the torch well and truly passed on to safe hands.

Retro Controls Equipment Review by David McCallum # 701548
Well, with the advent of the 100 ton mechs, the piloting community has been clamouring for new equipment to put into them, and this on the surface looks like a doozy.
Now, right off the bat we need to get the price out of the way. This is such a limited piece of kit that its only available through mystery Vortex crates, meaning for the measly cost of 60 Niodes, you might... perhaps... potentially... possibly be lucky enough to get one. Or a smidge under 50 Niodes if you go for the triple crate deal.
The thing is for a 100 ton mech, there just isn't a great deal of choice. Predictive Analysis rigs leave you vulnerable to laser and missile fire for all their targeting bonuses and Synaptic Boost interfaces slow you already slow mech down to a pace normally associated with glaciers, processing of income tax refunds or waiting for Scotsmen to buy a round of drinks.
To get anything comparable, you need to be looking at fitting it onto a slightly lighter mech... something that can take a Haptic Interface or M-hole which gives you a reasonable indicator of price as both of those systems come in around the 50 niode sweet spot.
So, worth it if you got the triple crate deal, a bit of a jip if you only bought a single.
So what do you get for you hard won currency? Well, gone are the implant connectors and mind interface units, instead you get a pair of sturdy handles and lots of buttons with styling by Nintari... how quaint! Saying that, the feel is very good and with a little practice you soon get the hang of leading fire on your target which aids in accuracy a lot, and without that direct brain link there is no chance of feedback frying your noggin.
A side effect of doing away with the nuerals is that you can go from relying on an automatic gearbox back to a manual, which gives it that extra kick of speed and acceleration. And those handles, especially when you are wired on hatorade and adrenaline, transfer every muscle spasm down to the chassis, giving your gait just that little bit more unpredictability for a dodge boost.
Sounds brilliant? But why oh why , bearing in mind the cost of the damn thing, couldn't we have had a proper gear stick instead of this stupid flappy-paddle thing? You could have even put a skull knob on it!
And for the love of your deity of choice, don't press the button with the green triangle
on it, as all you get is the words "SAVING GAME..." plastered across your heads up display and the cockpit auto eject sequence will initiate!
And as for the built in sound effect system? Why do I need to hear "chobbachobbachobbachobba" every time I set my mech in motion?
And who in the Galaxy is this PACK MAN bloke anyway?

Leave Batman Alone By Pat Willis#224534
*All characters are the property and copy write of their respective studios Warner Bros. & Hanna Barbera.
Dear friends,
I would like to take a moment to talk to you about a very unsettling dilemma in our galaxy today. The subject matter being the endless slander, and accusations laid against the Batman on the players page by one claiming to be Space Ghost (Mark Wiseman). According to him, every weapons shipment that gets hijacked, every game glitch, every lag attack, and every criminal mastermind is run by the Batman.
The year is now 3300, the Batman celebrated his 75th birthday back in 2015. So how in the stars names is a 1,285 year old vigilante, playboy still a consideration, much less the genius behind so much of the galaxies woes? He was a hero of old earth in the city of Gotham, he was a symbol of true unshakable justice. He brought criminal empires to their knees and made gods wary of his cunning. Yet this singular beacon of justice is blind sided again and again by one claiming to be a horridly drawn space interviewer, whose closest companion is some kind of humanoid insect. The very nature of said relationship has yet to be determined, but there are... rumors.
So I ask you all to join me in correcting this most unjust accuser when he portrays the symbol of justice as a scape goat! Remind him he is blaming a man who can not possibly exist anymore, remind him he is blaming a bonifide hero, and remind him that justice will not sit idly by and allow him to continue his slander for much longer. The Sons of the Bat, and The Sons of Arkham have joined forces to find and root out this miserable excuse for an entertainment personality. Help us to help him, before it becomes to late and the long dark night settles on us all!

Donald Alligood #201365 And Michael Brown #23931 Post Round 2 Clan War Interview
Welcome fans of mayhem and carnage this is Donald Alligood bringing you Michael Brown, one of the warriors of the fan favorite's Zeon. Welcome Michael, Can I get your player ID please?
Hello Donald and yes 23931
Congratulations on winning the first 2 rounds in dominant fashion. I believe the whole game will be on their seats looking forward to the final match up with The Isle of Misfit Toys. Care to give us an early prediction on this slug fest between 2 titans?
Yes Zeon has put some rounds downfield and dropped some bombs in our first 2 wins. The upcoming battle with the toys is going to be interesting to say the least. A slug fest in true fashion will be a understatement with strong lineups on both sides of the field.
I completely agree. It's gonna be epic. I think more divisions than not are gonna have some really good final rounds. It was quite generous of the devs to have mech prizes for all medal winners this war. What are your thoughts on would that becoming permanent be good for the game?
I have seen some good battles this round especially div 8 all those are close ones. It was nice seeing mechs to all medalist this war, yes to leave it as a normal payout would be awesome. I would also like to see more pre leveled mechs for div 2 down as well. Just a thought. As for good for the game, yes anytime your rewarded for the effort you put out is awesome for the game.
I agree. It will definitely help boost the competitiveness and help silver clans become gold clans, bronze clans become silver clans etc. I hope it stays. We finally have a behemoth sized 100 ton mech. Would you share your opinion of that devastating monstrosity with us please?
Using 1 in my current line up, I have seen them hit strong and die fast. I am hoping better equipment comes out soon to better evaluate the beast it has potential to be.
We will wait with gated anticipation, that is for sure. Thank you Michael, best of Luck to you and Zeon in round 3
Thank you Donald

Jack Myers#396694 Clan War Interview With Mark Wiseman#12304
Welcome fans of carnage and mayhem. This is Jack Myers with a member of the Black Star Lycan Rangers Spaaace Ghooost. Congrats on your round 1 win in division 5. looks to be quite an interesting division to be in this war. I see a lot of good match ups this war. Are there any in particular you are looking forward to?
It will be interesting to see how we line up against Death's Dinobots. It looks like they added 3 low-level players to try and fall down to a lower division, or maybe just to stay where they were. Their players seem to have gained levels faster than we have. I don't know if they were trying to drop a division or just avoid going up to a higher division, but it will be interesting to see if that ends up hurting them in the fight - or not.
I personally think thy were aiming for d6 and just missed, but who knows. The game has offered us a wide variety of challenges and quests, both personal and clanwise. What are your favorites and least favorites?
Personally, I like to fight for Gold in the KOTM events, to test my skills and my line-ups in a variety of situations. I have aimed to spread my Skill Points out evenly, and try to make a good showing - no matter what event I come to. I suppose that loading up on Cannons or Lazers does have it's advantages for those events, though. The thing I don't like sometimes are the level differences you can find within the same division. That was especially noticeable during the first Circuit Clan-War. Having level differences of more than 60 or 70 levels was just sad, because it gives some people no chance and no incentive to participate. I would like to see the levels within divisions addressed at some point, in some way.
A lot of people don't even try for gold anymore because they don't want the big xp gain and getting bumped for 4 fights. Kinda a double whammy in my opinion but it can be fun when people are trying to win it. So the big question......What do you think of the pirate moon boss finally being unlockable?
Well, first off, a funny thing happened to me last week: I won the gold medal in the Cannon Ball event, but the last 2 KOTM events I have signed up for have still dropped me into Division 3. For some reason, I have not been bumped up a division for 4 KOTM's. IDK if that's a technical glitch by the event organizers, caused by Toshiko, or if Moltar was finally able to find a weakness on his own to help me exploit even more advantages out of the events. One thing is for sure, though - BATMAN went bat-$#!t crazy upon learning about this. As far as the Pirate Moon missions opening up again goes, all I can say is exactly what's on everyone else's mind: IT'S ABOUT TIME !
Well, they had 3 or 4 short kotm's on the games b-day
That's true - I hadn't considered that. Perhaps that's the reason - some part of the rules got lost in the shuffle in an attempt to organize multiple events?
Very easy to do. Was a busy B-day Bash for mecha galaxy. Between all the circuit fights and kotm's as well as preparing for the clan war, it was a busy and festive day for everyone. Since it was the 3rd B-day, What do you think of how everything has changed from the beginning?
The game keeps getting better. Sometimes new content seems to take forever to develop. I remember when there were no slots for equipment on mechs - everything was pretty straightforward, tonnage was king. Now, there is quite a lot of variety in how you can set up your mechs. More events, different types of events, these things are good. I am interested to see when and how the Wave Challenges develop in the future.
That would be quite interesting to see. Thanks for your time spaaace ghoooost. best of luck to you and the Black Star Lycan Rangers this war.

Congratulations on your round 1 victory in Division 7. Looks to be an interesting division to be in. Looks to be a lot of tough match ups in most of the divisions this war. Are there any particular match ups your looking forward to?
I always look forward to facing the squads from AFF. They are a tough nut to crack and seem to get a little put off by upstart clans such as the Black Star Rising Sun.
The AFF does have some excellent clans and the black star family has been fighting with them for quite some time. Personally I think its one of the better rivalries in the game. Lots of respect for the AFF family. The game has offered us quite a variety of challenges and different types of wars. What wee some of your favorites?
I was skeptical of the Mechalympix at first, however, it seems that it gives all hands a chance at the prizes. I also like the faction wars, They are better than the clan wars as we get interact with our comrades in the other chapters of Black Star. I have leaned a lot from some of our old hands and I am sure to pass that to the newer hands.
I do enjoy the faction wars also. Glad they are only twice a year though. Who do you think will be the top clan in division 7 this war?
I would like to say my own clan, however, we are down one of our pros due to hardware issues, and we are a little light on experience. I think it will be the Defenders of the Bunny or the Brotherhood's 1st Kearney Highlanders. Too close to call.
All good clans. 1st kearney is the only clan to beat disciples in a long time though. Can't count them out. Disciples is always a tough fight. Thanks for your time Mike, and best of luck to you and the Rising Sun this war.
Thank you for having me. I have to get back to the garage in order to repair my mechs and tweak the lines for the next challenger.

Jack Myers #396694 Clan War Interview With Becky McEwen Gill #195284
Welcome fans of mayhem and carnage. Jack Myers here with the black star thundering herd's Becky McEwen Gill. Thank you for joining us tonight Becky, can I get your player ID please?

Congratulations on your round 1 victory in Division 6. Looks to be an interesting division to be in. Looks to be a lot of tough match ups in most of the divisions this war. Are there any particular match ups your looking forward to?
Division 3 always has a great match up on the last day of the war as well as Division 5 match ups.
I think division 3 is gonna have a barn burner this war for sure as well as division 5. I think CHOP Immortals vs death's acolytes down in D11 will be quite a good fight to watch as well as orion nebula vs bretheren in D4. very exciting clan war sure. The betters will not have an easy time picking this one. Which opponent in your division do you think will provide the biggest challenge for your clan this war?
Probably Phoenix will be our toughest fight but I'm confident we will be victorious!
I do love that confidence and swagger. I also agree that Phoenix will be a tough fight. With specialist having become such an integral part of the game, do you have a favorite specialty type you like to use?
I've always liked the lower tonnage specialties because it seems to level the playing field so much. My favorite is probably my 50 ton.
I agree, and sometimes its just fun to run around in the lighter weight mechs again. The game has offered us quite a variety of clan and personal quests and challenges. What are some of your favorites and least favorites?
I like the KotM events because of the variety they offer. I just wish the experience wasn't so high for placing well.
yea, that experience is quite a jump for sure. Thank you for your time Becky and best of luck to you and the rest of the thundering herd this war.
Thanks for all you do for protoing the game!

Pre Clan War Interview With Donald Alligood #201365 And Travis Retherford#697417
Welcome fans of carnage and mayhem, this is Donald Alligood bringing you one of the warriors of the fan favorites Zeon, Travis Retherford. Welcome Travis, can I get your player ID please?
Hello Donald, hows things with you tonight
Oops guess I need to put down the drink and pay attention a bit id# 697417
Very well sir, On the eve of this clan war and it seems to be loaded with good match ups. What is your perspective on the upcoming war?
Well, I am concerned about a specific battle, as well as all, most of the clans we have been facing are showing considerable improvement. So this battle is not gonna be a cake walk like some in the past have been.
I'm assuming you are referring to the reigning division 2 champions Isle of Misfit Toys. That is going to be quite a challenge. I'm personally looking forward to see how we fare against one of the top clans in the game. I'm also glad that were back to normal clan wars instead of the mechalympix circuit style clan wars. That was a looooong string of fights. Do you have a favorite or least favorite clan war format?
Yes it was and as this event is posted to be, this will be a slug fest. I just hope my forces are up for it. I know my Magnus is still a bit twerky from John T Mainers last volley, during the last time we faced the silly wabbits. Gotta give it to em.
Yes, you do have to give it to them. I've looked all through the divisions, and even though I am not familiar with all the clans, there are only a few I can pick a clear winner. I see many good matchups in this war. Good chance the house can get a rare win on the betting this war. Are there any potential matchups your looking forward to seeing?
WoW , Well as you know, I do favor Exiles, as well as Black Star, can I say the out comes never. For this is turning into a Sunday event any one might pull a hail mary at any given' time. It is getting really close in the lower divisions
And most of the middle divisions. Thanks for your time Travis. Best of luck to you and your Zeon brothers and sisters in the clan war.
Thank you Donald I know Zeon is gonna fight to the death so look out division three!

Reminder Of What You Can Do By Pat Willis#224534
Just a simple reminder of what all we have going on around here. First off is the comic strip - We're looking for folks to write out a 3-8 panel script for the comics section. You send in the script, we send it to the Devs, they have final call on it and if it is good, and goes to print, Molly pays you Niodes for it.
Clan Logos - No I won't give up on this!!! Original artwork to be displayed proudly representing your clan here in our pages, it also pays Niodes. Again ORIGINAL art only, no Armored Core, Battle Tech, Gundam , Zoids etc etc... based art as we do have to watch the whole copy write thing.
Clan Liaison Officer - Still looking to fill these slots. You get voted on by your clan to be the officially recognized "voice" of your clan. You do the interviews for the wars, give us updates on the non war weeks, and generally deal with us editors. It beats giving all the Niodes to us or those guys over at A.N.N. We get paid per interview, so do you yes but we do all the interviewing. Do the math. Want in? Contact myself or Artemis Molly via facebook and let us know!
So come on Galaxy we know you guys and gals are active and creative, show us what you have.

Monk's Shop Talk by Monk Malone/Ron Frye #879655
Ok, boys and girls, it's time for another heart to heart. I've been on sabbatical for the last few weeks due an aggravated injury sustained in the Brotherhood's mecha hangers. I ain't @#$%@#$ or anything, just explaining my prolonged absence. I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the emails and messages piled on my desk either, but my editor has just informed me that if I do not produce an article before tonight's print cut-off, then I AM the one getting cut-off; and it sure ain't my print he's aiming those tin snips at! Now I puzzled to myself for a good little bit about what I should do a write up on, and as I stared at my cast, I had a stroke of inspiration...or it might have been my med's kicking in....not sure which. Anyway, here goes....
MONK'S TOP TEN SAFETY TIPS IN THE MECHA REPAIR BAY
10. Always wash your hands before and after using the toilet (my cousin Padder forgot to wash up before taking a leak once after handling a rack of thermite missiles....they found his genitals three blocks away)
9. Just being shiny does not mean you can eat it
8. Never use an incendiary device for a practical joke.....it's all fun and games until someone loses a lung
7. Stop using projectile launch tubes for trash disposal.....you may think it's funny, but would you want someone to shoot YOU with a moldy sandwich?
6. NEVER use an ice attack based weapon as a beer cooler
5. NEVER use a flame thrower to cook a burrito
4. Ramen noodles are NOT an essential corporate monthly expense
3. Keep your bodily fluids to private and to your self......I refuse to elaborate on this one
2. Everyone likes classic SyFy movies from the 20th and 21st century, but that does not make it ok to reenact the light saber duels from the Star Wars movies in the repair bay using Duboce lasers
1. Just because it is called a cockpit does not mean you HAVE to have sex in it....if you need this one explained to you, then it will never apply to you
And that is the end of another Monk's Shop Talk.
Cheers, slainte, cia, etc etc etc.....Monk.

New Year Celebrations by David McCallum #701548
2 hours to midnight :
Well, the community has been told we will have some pretty big celebrations with the New Millennium in Mecha Galaxy.
First off we had a very quick turnaround from Mechalympix to get prepared for a celebratory old style Clan war.
Next we have had a countdown sale, with all weapon and munitions suppliers getting in behind a decent discount for their customers.
Then came an early announcement of the prizes for the Clan War, and every clan that gets a medal is in line for mechs! Big payout just there for taking your life into your hands for the enjoyment of the masses.
And now an inkling of movement around the Pirate Moon with some mini-bosses unlocking? Maybe the rum runners are gearing up for party time.... whatever the reason, fireworks are going off early as clans circle the moon to brush up on their
pirate hunting skills...
pirate hunting skills...
Will keep things updated as we wait for the tolling of the bell, the big fireworks and the ticker tape.
Oh, and hopefully the New Year sales!!!
20 minutes until New Millennium :
The Pirate moon is open and there is a race on as mecha pilots mete out some Justice that has been almost 3 years in the waiting!
And its not a bad mission for a newbie to take on Captain Kilgore. But watch out, that timer is only 1 hour, but that's going to be a very nice haul for any newbies who can make it in time.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
And with it, presents for all pilots! Fire weapons, a niode stash, extra competitions and new equipment releases.
Ooooh, and those sales!!!
Celebrations are short lived however, as pilots soon get news of the Clan War divisions and are rushing to their bays to do last minute ordering of parts and weapons while they try to work out their best and newest battle formations.
With just another quick pop at those pirates of course....
